Building Your Vocabulary

Hi ... today I want to share a little lesson that I learned earlier during my online class. Maybe not much that I can share but I hope this can help in increasing vocabulary in learning English

To make it easier for you to remember vocabulary You can use various media such as making notebooks, flashcards, flashcard rings, or flashcard apps. This media helps you if you want to write new words that you know and this media is very easy to carry anywhere, for example, you use a flashcard ring, you can put it in your pocket or your bag is very flexible. don't forget to write down the word and its meaning and if necessary include an example.

Then learn the meaning of new word

  1. Write down words you don't know
  2. Write down the meaning from the context of the sentence
  3. Write down the meaning from a dictionary or glossary.

Using new words

  1. set a goal
  2. write more

BTW for several months I was home due to the pandemic. I watch more movies, watch some content on TIk Tok that discusses English lessons and listen to music I think it really helps in improving vocabulary especially now that everyone can barely leave their cellphones. So, from there I think I added to the list new vocabulary that I've never heard before. Well, hope you can add a lot of new vocabulary from various sources or your daily activities ... Thank you

Short Story About My Experience

When I first served in a ward specifically for fregnant and maternity. I was quite nervous because this was the first time I had to take care of a mother who had gone through childbirth. When I saw labor I was very nervous and happy because it was an interesting and amazing experience.

The process is not easy and certainly painful for a mother. But when the mother sees the baby, She looks very happy. In my opinion a mother is a noble person. Who they are pregnant for nine months and then give birth to a child. From that experience I was reminded of my mother who was very meaningful to me and I want to always say Thank you for giving birth and caring for me until now.
