I am an international student and this is my first year for graduate study. Suggested by career advisor, I decide to improve my English writing by recording daily life. Today I want to ask how to know football games in a short time.

For my past twenty years I have never ever seen football match before. Last week, I got a student ticket and did not realize what football means in the U.S until the night before competition. It is rediculous indeed, I really need some suggestion or tips on' How to become a qualified audience' as I got another student ticket in raffle for the compatition two weeks later. It is said to be a rare opportunity as there are many students who want that ticket but can not make it. 

Wish I could take advantage of my luck and get familiar with football game as soon as possible. : )
