Exactly two years since he assumed the DCFI Office of the Principal has been untiring in his program to the school learners to love their own culture, a Maranao culture which more than 98 percent of its pupils are Maranao. Mr. Leonardo Collado, our school principal tasked a group of teachers lead by Ms. anomie Retiza, Ms. Flordeliza Sarabusing, Mr. Aries Ambito, Mr. Cyril Poblador, Ms. Lamina Racman and Ms. Joy Lucero to launch a cultural group compose of brilliant and creative pupils to train and perform some of their cultural riches which believed that such are part of his compassion among Maranao cultures which became test to his leadership because at first it is difficult for us to look back to our own cultural riches because the first thing we felt was chagrin but at the end of the day we realized that we must see past our past to move forward to eventually love our own.
