The butterfly

Somebody somewhere  found the coccoon of  a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared. The man sat watching the butterfly for certain  hours  which  it was  trying  to move  her body through  the small  hole. Sometime it looked  tired to go on  so  the  man  decided to help the butterfly .  He cut the rest of the cocoon with a   scissors. The butterfly appeared  easily  but it had swollen  body and withered wings.

The man kept on watching the butterfly because  he believed  that  her  wings  will grow and would spread to support its body which was being no longer swollen slowly.

On the contrary the butterfly passed her rest of her of her life with swollen body and having withered wings. It never managed to fly.

This that the man with his kindness and hasty behaviour didn't understand that the butterfly's   struggle to go out from the opening , was the way that God channeled liquid from its body  to her wings, so that it can  be ready to fly  from  its cocoon.

Sometimes the difficulties is what we exactly need. If God permitted us to live life without obstacles we wouldn't obtain the strength we deserve. We  could never fly.

I was born a woman.

When  I   was   sixteen   I   had   already  realised   that  I  am   a  strong   person  and  ready  to  behave  like  a  lover, a  sister, a   trustworthy  girlfriend  or  a  close  friend.      Year  by  year  I  obtained  confidence  and  became  an  affectionate  wife ,a  devoted  love  partner  and  a  hard  working  housewife. Then  I  said  to  myself  there's  no  time to  lose  and  I  decided  to  be  a  mother  and  an  employee.

As  you  can  understand  nothing  is  given  to  anybody  for  free  I  should  have  to struggle  and  suffer  a  lot.

I   don't   regret  for  anything  and  I  thank  God  I  was  born  a  woman  to  offer  and  love.

A nice childish memory

Take  a  bike  and leave  for  the impossible

I  hold  the  key  in  my  hand

Catch  the  steering  wheel   and  my  pulse

                  is  getting   stronger

I   have  seen  the  play   somewhere

I  was  a   child   with  pure   heart

I   had  a   dream,  my  bike

                  and  everything   seemed  right

I  became  sixteen  a nd everything  was  fine

                  I had  my  life  ahead

                  My    bike  was  always   mine

                  And  took  me  very  far

To  Sahara   desert , like the deepest  longing

Was leading  me  away  from  joy.

And  now  in  the  struggle again  from  the  start

Force   the pedal  the others'   will come

                   Let's   go  for  riding

                   Our  bikes  like  our  dreams

                   Know  from   steepness.

Have you ever ridden  a  bike?

When   I was  a  little  girl  at the age of twelve  I used to ride a dark  red bike. Every weekend I used to ride my bike with my friends in my neighbourhood. It  was  a   fascinating  moment  for me  because I would meet  my  friends  and go riding.

I was feeling  free  and happy. I had nothing to worry  about just  to keep balance and  be  careful  not to fall  down. We  sometimes  used to start races who first  will  reach   a    place.

The prize for the winner  was to ride  the other  friends'  bike. In  this  way  we used to change bikes  and  know  everything  about  the others'  bikes.

It's  a nice  memory  of the things  we  left  behind  but we will never forget.

I CHANGE IT MEANS I LIVE.

During  our life , the winds blow towards us  endless  experiences  which  they  touch  us deeply.

All  of us  have  experienced  the wind of disappointment ,despair, sorrow, but also the  one  of  happiness, hope and inspiration.

Why ,though  we all  start up  our life travelling by the same ship towards  a  destination , suddenly we realise that the winds have already changed  and each of us  reaches to different  places at the end of the journey.

Above death the only  certain in life is the change. It's the wind that blows during the  quiet  and predictable journey,  which changes our  route, tears our sails , but  it also  challenges us to   be developed   and balanced .

The procedure of change shows us that whichever  wind blows to us ,the  matter is  what we'll  do.Will  we  allow it to  break our sails  and sink our ship or  we  will  face it  with the weapons  we obtained through  our experiences ?

The girl with many eyes.

                   One  day  in the park

                   I  had  a quite surprise

                   I    met  a  girl

                     who  had  many eyes.

                   She   was really  quite  pretty

                   and also  shocking

and   noticed  she   had  a mouth

                   so  we ended  up  talking

                   We  talked  about flowers

                    and  her  poetry  classes

and the problems she 'd have

                    if she ever wore glasses

It's  great  to  know  a  girl

                    who  has so many  eyes

                    but  you  really  get  wet

                     when  she  breaks  down

                     and  cries .

How   would you   feel  if  you  met a  girl  with  so  many  eyes?

      Why   do  people  like  gossiping?

People  sometimes  like  to  talk  about  personal  or  private  affairs  of  others.  Perhaps  because  they  themselves  feel  insecure  or  unsatisfied  towards  a  particular  person  and  his  or  her  behaviour.

There's no  doubt  that  words  can  hurt. You  need  to  be  careful  to  what  you  say. If  you  haven't  heard it  from  a reliable  source ,  you  could  be  spreading  lies.

So when  it  comes  to  use  harmful  gossip  think  it  over  and  follow  this  advice"  make it  your  aim  to  live  quietly  and  to  mind  your  own  business".

How  can  you  show  personal  interest  in  others  and  still  mind  your  own  business?

Before  talking  about  someone  ask  yourself.'Do  I   really  know  the  facts? What's  my  motive  relating  this  information? How  will my  gossiping  affect  my  reputation? The  last question  is very  important  for  being  known  as  a gossip  says  more  about  your  character  than  that  of  a  person  being  talked  about.

How  would  you  react  if  you  were  the  victim  of  gossip? 'Do  not  hurry  yourself  in  spirit  to  become  offended".

Instead  try  to put the  matter  in  perspective.

"Do  not  give  your  heart  to  all  the  words  that  people  may  speak,.....  for  your  own   heart  well  knows  even  many  times  that  you,  even   you  have  used  bad  words   for  others.

I believe  that  there's  no  excuse  for  harmful  gossip.

Once  a  woman said  "  I'm  usually  hurt  when  someone  says  something  bad  about  me , but  I  try  to  keep  it  in  perspective, "  .  I  strongly  believe  that  next  week  they'll  probably  be  talking  about  someone  or  something  else."

Have  the  good  sense, then  to  lead  conversations  away  from  harmful  gossip.  And  when  impolite  talks  involves you,  be  calm  and  have  the  maturity  not  to  overreact.  Let  your  good  works  speak  for  you.  If  you  follow  this  reaction  you  will  help  to  preserve a  good  relationship  with  the  others.

It is right to meddle with nature.

Do you work in the garden? Do you like plants and fruit trees? It's a nice activity outdoors and people who deal with it are easy going ,calm and creative. They never stop working and trying to explore new approaches towards nature
and its secrets. When mother nature offers them its fruits they feel proud and happy.Next to nature few people complain because it's their home and the place of their origin. So let's go back to nature and free our minds of any trouble.

It is foolish to give money to beggars.

If  you  beg  for something free you  don't have a  say  in what you get. It's something you say to someone who's getting something without trying for it.

The term beggar  means a  person  that  begs for  money or  food. It  does not mean the same as homeless or poverty stricken. Many  such people do not beg , but make their living by other means. A wealthy person can be a beggar if  he  sits on a street corner and asks for people to give him money.

The main causes  for beggars are that they're poor and being unable to hold a regular job  due to all  sorts of problems: mental, emotional, physical, educational, medical and so on. The majority of successful  beggars  are just  self-employed  doing what  they  like to do.

What's your favourite sport?

SPORT IN BRITAIN
Even if you are not interested in sport itself , it is useful to know something about this important part of British life.
There are three major team sports in Great Britain.
1 Football ,also known as “soccer”.
2 Cricket, a strange game that few foreigners like or can even understand.
3 Rugby, also known sometimes as ‘football’.
Of these , football, or ‘soccer’ is the most popular .During the football season, one of the most important things on television is the football match shown on the BBC on Saturday evenings around 10 o’ clock. On Saturday afternoons, the big sports day in Britain some football grounds will have crowds of more than 40,ooo.
Professional teams are organized into four ‘divisions’ in England and Wales. Scotland has its own two divisions. The bottom three teams or’ clubs’ of the First division at the end of the season go into the Second Division. These teams are’ relegated’. The top three teams of the Second Division go into the First. They are ’promoted’. The same thing happens between the second and the Third divisions. But the third Division loses its bottom four clubs to the Fourth every year, and the top four clubs of the Fourth are promoted to the Third.
Recently, football has been getting less popular. The crowds are not so big. Some clubs are always in financial trouble. It is said that one reason for this is ’violence on and off the field’. Players tackle each other very hard. They sometimes get into fights. Crowds of young spectators also get into fights. They are called ‘hooligans’. After some matches, shop windows near the grounds are smashed up. So are the trains that carry football crowds.
Rugby and Cricket are interesting because they show certain class differences. For a long time ,soccer was said to be a’ working man’s sport’. But today even intellectuals and artists can be found among the crowds. Rugby, strangely enough, has been described as ‘a game designed for hooligans but played by gentlemen’. This may have been a ‘gentlemen’s game once. It looks rougher than soccer. It was first played at a famous public school called Rugby.
In Rugby, the ball is picked up and run with. The idea is to ‘score a try’;that is,to get to the other end of the field with the ball .The ball can also be thrown or passed backwards. There are actually two types of Rugby in Great Britain. Rugby Union is played is played all over Britain, but Rugby League is a tougher and faster game. There are thirteen in each side in Rugby League and fifteen in Rugby Union.Rugby Union is also the type of game played by public schools;Rugby League is not. It is a working-class sport, whereas Rugby Union is not.
Cricket seems more peaceful. A man with a small ball in his hand runs up to a spot and throws it.A few yards away a man with a bat, called a batsman, tries to hit it.The ball bounces in front of him. Sometimes it bounces up and hits him in the face. It is very hard ball and some batsmen have lost a few teeth this way or have had broken jaws.Cricket is played in the summer. Some of the countries of the Commonwealth send national teams to play each other. This is called ‘A Test Match’.A test match can go on for five days. Great interest is shown in the result. The story is told of an American arriving in Britain for the first time.At Victoria Station he saw newspapers with headlines like ‘Great Crisis for England’s Position Hopeless’. He thought that a war was about to begin,or that there was another great economic crisis. In fact, the newspaper headlines were all about a test match being played between England and Australia.
Explain what these words mean:
a. The First Division
b The Second, Third and Fourth Divisions
c ‘relegated’
d ’promoted’
e What other game is also known as’football’?
f Describe the difference between this game and’ soccer’.
g Where did it get its name?
h What are the main differences between Rugby League and Rugby Union?
I Describe very briefly and roughly what happens in cricket.
J Is it really completely safe?
k Tell the story of the American arriving in Britain for the first time.

Love is won.

We   demand   love but it slips. Any entreaty promise, negotiation, soft soap or threat is able to ensure love.

True love can only be won.

Love is withered  under limitations. It's  substance is freedom. It  isn't  compatible with submission, jealousy or fear: there is in its pure, perfect and unlimited form when it's based in trust, equality and self respect.

A family is what you make it.

READ  THIS  POEM AND  COMMENT ABOUT  IT  PLEASE

I  used  to  believe that a family

was a mom, and a dad, and 2.3 kids,

and  a great  big   station wagon or a mini van

And a house and a dog and a cat.

But now I've seen  lots of  families,

I  know it's not always like that

Because a family is what you make it.

It's you and your loved ones, whoever they are.

You've got to give and take it.

With understanding and love, your  family's gonna go far

With undrestanding and love , your  famly's gonna  go far

I  used to  believe I was normal

Now I  don't  know what that  means.

Cause if  your family keeps you cozy and warm all right

and fits you like a pair of your favourite jeans

That's  what's important. That makes it right,

Snug  as a bug on a cold winter's  night

Someone to love you  and someone to fight

for  your  right to be  just who you are.

With understanding and love, your  family's  gonna go far

With understanding  and love, your  family's gonne go far

Old people are always saying that the young are not what they were. The young are better educated. They have a lot of money to spend and enjoy their freedom. They grow up more quickly and are not so dependent on their parents. They think more for themselves and do not blindly accept the ideas of their elders.

WHAT ARE YOU VALUES?

The most important values to live by are:

appreciation, belief in others, caring for  others, commitment, compassion, dedication, effort, forgiveness, and friendship.

When our actions  and words are alighted with our values life is generally good and we feel content ,confident an satisfied. But when our behaviour doesn't match with our values, we soon begin to sense an uneasiness that begins  to swell and grow inside us.
