Words are grouped into four categories: Nouns, Verbs, Adjectives, Adverbs.

The following list is from a graduate level psychology course written back in the 1950s era. Hence many of these words are not in a generic spoken English vocabulary per say or at least I did not observe them in the everyday spoken language around me 25 years living in the USA. Your mission is should you accept it is to come up with sentences that contain these words. The sentence needs to be ridiculous yet coherent.  The idea is to make new exciting connection in our brain with these words, hence improving their retention in active vocabulary despite their uncommon appearance.

Ridiculous, yet comprehendible sentence built for learning these words: Zygote, Echelon, Inhibited, Sooth

  • “The sooth of my soothing pain relief exercise suited me well.”

Ridiculous sentence around the word: SOOTH
