Hi everyone...As my lovely Nafis suggested that I add one poem by Hafez everyday ,I have presented one Ghazal by him in here ...Any other volunteers to help me add poems in here ???Here is today's poem :Laden with my ignorant tiesAshamed of the courageous and wiseMay a hidden hand help me riseOr else madness becomes my prize.Of stars and fate ask of my eyesThat watch the havens until sunrise.I kiss the cup that me appriseOf the world’s turnings and its disguise.Praise of wine-sellers’ reprisePraise of God’s bounty, why despise.Grateful for my power and sizeUnable to deal in deceit and lies.Drunk like Hafiz, till my demise,Hopeful of that angel’s enterprise.page at hereDo you have any ideas about this poem?
