Have you ever heard about NOWROUZ?If you have not heard about it please read this text. ,"NOWROUZ" is a persain word which means new day. We call this the new year. Every year, people from more than 11 countries celebrate Nowrouz :Iran , Azerbaijan, Afghanistan , Tajikistan ,Turkmenistan ,Turkey ,Kyrgyzstan , Kazakhstan , Uzbekistan , Pakistan ,and Kurdistan of Iraq.
Iranian people have been celebrating new year on the first day of spring for the past 2500 years. They believe that the earth wins against the coldness brought into the world by a devil with bad energy. Another reason for this celebration comes up from Zoroastrianism (the ancient religion of Iran ). It reflects the respect and values of nature where people come to celebrate and dance the coming of spring in all its splendour.
