  • What a beautiful introduction to your country Mohyie, thank you! I was fortunate enough to visit many years ago. My husband and I went to Casablanca, Marrakesh, and, I think,  Ouarzazate. At any rate, we travelled in a bus over the Atlas Mountains to the edge of the Sahara and were hosted for afternoon tea by a Berber family. The farthest point we achieved was marked by a sign something like: "Timbuctoo 65 days by camel."

Ha ha. It was a very lovely trip and interesting, gracious, country.

  • Very interesting post, Mohyie! I enjoyed reading and watching it a lot.

I'm glad to know about Morocco. Before reading your informative post, I was only aware of its name. Even I didn't know that it's located in Africa. I just presumed myself that it is somewhere in South America.;)) Now I can say that at least I know something about Morocco.

I knew that word "Almaghrib" and its meaning "a place where sunsets," its other meaning "God land" is totally new for me.
