A Man had two dogs: a Hound, trained to assist him in his sports, and a Housedog, taught to watch the house. When he returned home after a good day's sport, he always gave the Housedog a large share of his spoil. The Hound, feeling much aggrieved at this, reproached his companion, saying, "It is very hard to have all this labor, while you, who do not assist in the chase, luxuriate on the fruits of my exertions." The Housedog replied, "Do not blame me, my friend, but find fault with the master, who has not taught me to labor, but to depend for subsistence on the labor of others."Conclusion ... to change the world from withim should start at early age, by teaching and showing the children the good example.

  • My dear Forget-me-Not,

I agree with your conclusion and there are proverbs:"As a man sows,so shall he reap" or "As a tree falls,so shall it lie".
    Thanks for this profound post.

  • Dear Mebarek,

Sorry to hear this Mebarek, hope things are good now. You are absolutly right, parents have to be good for their children, and if they have to punish their child, they must have a good reason for that. As children who are punished without a good reason can not understand why, and feel that as a deep unfairness.
To be parents is not an easy task and there are no schools to teach us ! So even if we always want to do right, i am sure we all make mistakes sometimes.

    Take care,
