Challenge Yourself in Writing

Writing is a great way of self-expression. I believe, every blogger is unique. He or She can share a blog without copying the whole articles, that he or she read online or in print. Ins't it overwhelming if you narrate stories and paraphrase them wholeheartedly?

So why don't we keep on challenge ourselves to write originally or practice paraphrasing. Please don't plagiarize! Don't you think it's much better to use our own interpretation of the story? It's a great feeling if you make a blog using your own words. Do you agree with me? : )

  • I still find that it's hard for me to paraphrase articles on the Internet, especially those that were written by native English speakers. Maybe, you could share your tips to paraphrase, Robbie. It would be great to read that. :)

    • Hi Ario,

I understand your concern. It's pretty hard to paraphrase articles especially if it's full of unfamiliar words. That's why I choose simple articles since I'm also a learner. What I usually do is read the article that I've chosen, then interpret it based on my understanding. I consult an English-Filipino (in your case, English-Indonesian) dictionaries to clearly understand the terms which are new to me. It's important to have an English dictionary to help you understand the meaning of the word and the article itself.

Here's one of my blog based on paraphrasing.

  • Yes, I agree with you exactly.
