You all have a favourite pair, don't you? A good pair of jeans can be your best friend! What kind of jeans do you prefer? Personally, I don't fall for the latest jean fad. I must confess, I hate skinny jeans. And, I hate skinny jeans on kids. Many of the kids at my daughter's school wear skinny jeans and I think they look silly. I especially don't like skinny jeans on boys or men.
The best style of jeans, in my opinion, is low rise flare. I personally prefer the boyfriend style. I sometimes wear dark jeans, but I like the slightly faded look best. I need to replace my favourite pair because they have holes in the knees and I have to wear a long shirt to cover the hole at the back. They are still my favourite jeans. (see image)

I did not get what you mean by skinny jeans! If you mean the tight one which stick to the body; I don’t like either.
To be honest I’ve never bought torn jeans and I think I would never; cause of the problem as you have had with your jeans! Haha I prefer to wear short shirt with embellished jeans!
My daughter likes jeans shorts and in her skate classes, she always wearing her shorts.
