Have you ever written a blog?

What is criterion of a good blog?

A blog that is featured and have a lot of readers.

I've written many blogs and among them I saw that a short blog which has new information, usually with a nice photo, can be the best.

Have you ever thought that we can write a blog together too?

It is close to Iranian New Year, Nowruz.

How about writing a blog about it together?

Let's share our idea about Nowruz Blog here and then start writing it and share it in a new blog.

What we need is a nice photo and a short summary about it.

It is my idea, what is yours?

      Good information!
      Yes, billions of Asians are celebrating the Lunar New Year (Some people call it "Chinese New Year" or "Spring Festival" in China). People in Korea or Vietnam or some other countries may celebrate it in different ways.

    Good information and nice blog.
    Yes, you are right, we still have a week until Nowruz.
    But we can have it sooner in a blog to add more information about it, as you said it is a very big festival and has a lot of traditional customs.

      Hello all

      thanks for the nice topic Mahgol and thanks for the nice photo Sahar...it definitely reminded me of Nowruz...

      I would like to add some information about your photo Sahar ,if you don't mind.

      What is shown in Sahar's photo is an Iranian custom that you will see in most of Iranian houses in Nowruz named Haft Sin..

      Haft Sin is a Persian clause which means seven words started with S(of course in Persian)

      first one which is the blessing symbol is Green which we call 'Sabz' in persian and you can see that grass is in the photo..

      we also put our holy book Quran and a book of a famous old Iranian poet named ''Hafez''' there which reading its poems by old memebers of the family before informing the start of the new year is somehow interpretatoin of a good luck.before the start of the new year the family gather around Haft Sin and  pray for a gr and a blessing year..by the time the new year is informed the family kiss each other and the oldest member gives some money to kids named Eydi..

      kids love it very much:)
