    Hi tara,

    I've just finished my "ough" practice

    Can you please take a time to check it ?  I'll be grateful,

    It was really difficult until seeing them phonemic symbols. However I have still some open questions for me about their reconcilation. I couldn't match them properly, I need help.

    for examp;

    Group A

    1.Though  (like go)

    2.Through  (like too)

    3.Cough  (offer)

    4.Rough  (suffer)

    5.Plough  (flower)

    6.Ought  (saw)

    7.Borough  (above)

    Group B Phonemic Symbols

    1.go= goʊ
    2.too=tuː
    3.offer=ɔːfər
    4.suffer=ˈsʌfər
    5.flower=ˈflɑʊər
    6.saw=sɔː
    7.above=əˈbove

    Group C: Text

    1.rough = rʌf,
    2.dough= doʊ,
    3.thoughtful=θɔtfl,
    4.plough=plow
    5.through=θruː
    6.scarborough=
    7.slough=slaʊ
    8.coughed= kɔːf
    9.hiccoughed=

    Text mentioned (A= B) but why I can't match (B=C) ?

    Could you match A=B=C together ? If you have time,

    Thank you so much,

    • Hi Dear Tara,

      I've checked out them again,

      finally, I came up to ;

      hiccoughed and thoughtful couldn't corrrespond with the "A" and naturally"B" listed.

      Could you please clear up the matter to go on my way ? I mean, can you show me hiccoughed and thoughtful words's equivalent  into Josef original list ?

    Can I download it to take away ?

    It would be really great to me.

    but it seems not to possible.

    • Hi Selma,

      I'll see if Josef can add the download function to it. Thanks for the suggestion. (Let's hear your version!)

    Thanks Tara,
