Nargis = is the name of a beautiful flower (as I know) and it's opening (mouth) looks like a beautiful eye. The boil egg when when split in from length it also look like and eye, (Nargis), so no matter if such eggs are cooked with vegetable and/or kofta (meatball), because of its look it is named NARGISI.

    Wallaho Alem.

  • All the dishes were decorated beautifully, by the way we have Nargesi in our dishes but it is made with vegetables and eggs.

There are other snacks in our dish list besides kababs.

    Like Chana Chaat

    Dahi Baray (Bhallay in Punjabi).

    Fruit Chat.

    Samosa (plural samosay)

    Pani Puri.

    Papar (Papad or Papdi)

    Halwa Puri

    ETC.

  • Pakistani Snacks are totally different from the ones you find in other places.

    @ Want

I have mentioned kababs above in my blog.  These are one of the snacks mostly eaten in my country, now also found in Europe and America. In Baltimore, there are some restaurants naming like KABAB HUT, NOORA KABAB, KABAB CORNER. AZAAN etc. These restaurante provides kababs.

Kababs are of different type. Like

Seekh Kabab, these are made with beef (minced) on grills.

Shami kabab, these are also made with minced (cooked) beef, but are round in shape.

Chapli Kabab, these are flat and thin in shape.

Muthi Kabab, these are shaped by squeezing in a fist then fried.

Katchay qeema Kabab (Raw minced meat), These are left somewhat uncooked. (Not completely cooked).

Handi kabab:  If the material of shami and/or seekh kabab cooked in a pot then it is called haandi kabab.
