Really, I had very little information in this context. So, today I tried to read and collect some information. And, I felt the urge to share it with all of you. So, friends, have a look!
1. Domestic animals' (cow, buffaloes, yak, camel, ox, rhinoceros) kids are known as- calf. But , I surprised to find that Antelope, Dolphin, Elephant, Giraffe, Hippopotamus and whale's kids are also known as calf.
2. Wild animals' (tiger, lion, bear, panda,fox) kids are called as cub.
3. chicken, crane, crow, falcon, ostrich, parrot, penguin, magpie, wood pecker, heron's kids are called chicks.
4. Little pig/ boar is piglet.
5. Little owl is owlet.
6. Little snakes is snakes-let.
7. Little eagle is eaglet.
8. Little frog is frog-let.
9. Little dog is pup/puppy.
10.Little bat is pup.
11.Cat's kid is kitten
12. Rabbit's kid is kitten/bunny/kit.
13. Rat's kid is kitten/pup/pinkie.
14. Squirrel's kid is kitten/pup/kit.
15.Little goose is gosling.
16. little Duck is duckling.
17. Little spider is spider-ling.
18. Little crane is chick.
19. Little horse/ donkey/ zebra is foal.
20. Little wasp/butterfly/bee is larva.
21. Little mouse is nymph.
22. Little mosquito is nymph.

Hmmm...please don't mix tadpoles with pole dancers..LOL
And the young frogs after hatching from the eggs are called tadpoles or pollywogs.
