Dia de muertos (Day of the Dead)

Is the most beautiful tradition of my country (Mexico), The cult of death in Mexico is not new, it is already practiced for upcoming dates to 1800 BC.
The festival that became the Day of the Dead commemorated the ninth month of the Aztec solar calendar, about the beginning of August, and was celebrated for an entire month. Festivities were presided over by the goddess Mictecacíhuatl, known as the "Lady of Death" (now related to "La Catrina" character of José Guadalupe Posada) and wife Mictlantecuhtli, Lord of the land of the dead. The festivities were dedicated to the celebration of children and the lives of deceased relatives.

For this celebration 2014, my characterization was a catrin, the couple of the catrina.
