  • In addition to this topic, a lot of native speakers use double negative which is illogical because it might confuse English learners. For example, 'It's not unusual for grooms to wear suits in their weddings.' So two negatives cancel each other out and become positive. Besides, using double negatives is absolutely not encouraged in academic setting. Thank you for sharing this useful video, Nida!
