  • Dear Dara, Thanks for your nice video.

  • i'm a little bit confused about the pronunciation of the definite article 'the' sometimes we pronounce it as 'de' or 'di'; is there a rule about it?I've once been told  by my teacher if 'the' comes before a vowel then we pronounce it as 'di' like the earth but when I heard the native speakers in a movie or some video the rule is not always be applied. What do you think about it, mr. Dara?

    • Guru kamu bagus dan saya setuju dengan niya, Marita Widiarti. I agree with your respected teacher. When the definite article “the” comes before a word that begins with a vowel letter, you can pronounce it as (thee). When “the” comes before a word that begins with a consonant letter, pronounce it as (thu). I hope this helps. Thanks, Marita for your nice question.
