Bet's Funny Story Challenge: How Forgetful I am! :(

Story I

In front of a minimarket.
A friend: Hi Onee!
Me: Oh,,,Hi......!!! [shaking hands and thinking so hard to whom I was talking]
A friend: How are you..??
Me: I'm good. [smiles] What about you?
A friend: I'm very well Onee.
Me: You ... look different. [I said slowly in doubt]
A friend: Ah, I'm the same like before. You look more beautiful. :p
Me: e..hehe... Thank you. I'm with my mom.
A friend: Hi Ma'am! [shaking hands].
......some more conversation
Me: I'm going to shop something here. You seem to go home.
A friend: Oh, yes! I am being waited. :D See you, Onee! [shaking hands and kissing cheeks]
Me: Okay, see you again! ^_^

The next day, I just knew who she was. I didn't even remember anything about her while chatting. LoL............. She was my class mate in Junior High School. A few months later, I saw her again and she told me that we used to ride on bike together when going to school. How could I forget that? :(((

Story II

In a bookstore, I was choosing books. I saw a man and he saw me, too, we were smiling. He approached me and greeted me. He was my junior in an extra-curricular activity in university. I left the activity, but he is still there.

A friend: Hi Onee! Long time..
Me: Ohh, hiii, brotheer! How are you?
A friend: I'm fine, sis. What about you? I hope you're fine.
Me: Sure, I'm good. Thank you. What are your activities now?
A friend: I'm a trainer and still active there now. By the way, here is our junior. [he came with his friend].
Me: Hii!! [shaking hands with junior]. Very good! [I gave him my thumbsup for being active]
.... some more conversation. Then, a moment before saying farewell ...
Me: Mmm wait....really sorry, you know I'm so forgetful. Would you tell me your name, please? [I tried to be honest :( ]
[His friend was laughing a little. His face was seemingly gloomy, but he is humorous]
Me: Seriously, I remember you (your face). But, [while holding my head] I can hardly remember the name now.
A friend: MNXPQ, sis.
Me: Ohhh, yeahhh, I remember it now. lol. [I repeat his name twice]. OK, Thank youu. Take care! Go on with your plan. :D

A friend: OK! See you. :)

:D :D :D I knew him a lot. :(((((

What do you think of my story?? I'm myself confused. :/

What do you think the factors that cause those troubles? :(( Please join the discussion!

:((( You know dear, water and juice are my only drinks, my favorite. I do not drink any other drinks, very rarely. That's why I said the possible reasons in this discussion. :D

Thank you, anyway. ^^

Hi Sekhar!

Wow!! What a great story! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Memorable event can't make us forget about it. The teacher might not remember your face 'cos you must have changed a lot. But I'm sure she would also remember it as she probably regretted of what she did. ^^

How great the feeling if you could meet her again.

THANK YOU so much for your precious time and comment. :) Hope to see you around more.

I am glad to read your blog and these incidents will happen almost in one's life.

I have gone through many people and I don't know their names and just faces or their catch words or the sentences they use.

I have remembered my story, I.e.

When I was a child studying 4rth grade.

My Teacher: " Students, All of you should write the poems tomorrow(wednesday) what you have learned today(tuesday)

Unfortunately I was sick and absent on Tuesday and I came to school on wednesday and when teacher came and my friends are by-hearting the poems and I was confused and what was going on.

Teacher was calling us to the table and seeing the poems and asking questions and I still remember we the students were so tensed and what question the teacher would ask.

Suddenly teacher called my name and I went there, She asked poems and some questions and I was totally like dumb and deaf and my knees and foot were almost shivering.

She said " Did you read poems or not?"
I was so silent and even not nodding head any side and she was angry and beat me twice with stick on my hand and I didn't cry except question mark face and sat on my place and on the bench, my friends were watching my hand and said "alas, you got punishment with no reason and show me your(my) hand and it was about to bleed(cause already my hand has kinda injury that I felt)

One of my friends went to teacher and told that I was bleeding and the teacher was very shocked and hurried to the head master and applied some penicillin powder. One of the friends said that " teacher, he(me) was absent(tuesday) yesterday cause of fever.

The teacher eyes are almost mist of tears. And then she dropped me at my home. Later.....

I was travelling on the bus and some were entering in the bus and I was observing them. I am so happy I found the teacher and went to her and give my seat cause she is standing and no place to sit.

She said " No thanks"

I: Never mind ma'am, I am your student.

She: How do you know me is a teacher.

I : You taught us poems in my 4th grade and now I am in the 11th grade.

She : Sorry, I did not remember you as I taught to many students.

I said the story "fever-poems-injury" then she realised me and asked how are your studies and everything.

I " It's going well ma'am.

Really meeting someone after a long time is very exciting and confusing too. We just recall past and gets some fun and it's going on.

Teachers might forget but the students.
Like this, I met some friends and teachers and it is a great feeling to meet someone with vague memory.

Oh no..! Thanks for reading me.

Hi Olga!

Ohh, Thank God! I'm not alone. Me, the same experience, with a student, even when, I'm teaching, :x lol....

That's a great idea, Olga. I will practice that whenever I forget. "Hi dear, sweety, smart boy, pretty...." kkkkkk.....

When we forget, "water please", maybe we need more water....lol

THANK YOU so much for your interesting comment and appreciation. :)

Hi Bet!

I'm happy you like it. :))

Yes, it's though to remember. You know, sometimes, JUST A MOMENT, it's a shameful......When I am teaching, I forget my student's name, whereas they are my students for years. And they will only sigh.....LOL.... I admit that this happens when I have lots of things to think. :p
