Tonight is like yesterday. I remember I wrote my article about 2018. It was entitled (Proactive Approach). I was always optimistic about the New Year. Meaning to say, it would be better than the previous one. For nineteen twenty or rather twenty nineteen, politically, I can imagine that many political settlements are underway.

The battle against terrorism is doing well. Some hot spots are cooling down. Some previous years started with a fire, an earthquake, or some other disasters. They were not necessarily at the beginning of the year. Some of them happened during the first months and others at the end of the months of those years. For instance, let us look at some of the events of 2018.

The tragedies of the Malaysian and the Indonesian airplanes. Tsunami in the Indonesian Islands of Jakarta and Sumatra. Of course, there were bright events like many elections in different parts of the world. The world cup in Russia, and now, at this moment People in different parts of the world are celebrating Christmas outdoors despite the severe cold.

Kiyon mirashavaadi dekhte hain, White Knight? Lol! My dear good friend, White Knight why the pessimistic look? At least, we could change and that is not difficult for us. I really hope we change from inside ourselves and consequently the change is coming in twenty nineteen. However, we have to respect your point of view. Thanks for your opinion in 2019.

The time is just passing by and we are flowing forward with it , the year is just a number that changed , from 18 to 19 , everything is still the same as before , just a normal day ahead , the concept of Happy new year doesn't even exist because of the fact that we as humans haven't changed much.

Assalamu alaykum Ahmmed. Tamam! Many horrible events took place at the end of twenty eighteen. I noticed that you remembered them. Demonstrations in our country have  been going on. They may lead to some changes. Nevertheless, let us hope for the best. Thanks, Ahmmed for your comment.

You too mod. Paula. It is always good to hope for the best. The problem isn't that.  People will never stop demeaning each other just for the sake of gaining some grounds or financial benefits. Thanks, mod. Paula for your nice  comment.

Hi Dara!!  I was thinking as I read your blog that many of us.....such as Rysperski, Mr. Joe, and myself, we have seen many things over the years.  Some amazing, some not so amazing.  The one thing that always happens with me at the beginning of the New Year is the hope I always carry in my heart of good things to come.  That this year will be the turning point of all the past hopes over the years.  I never give up on that subject.  They say hope springs eternal.  I guess in my case that is true.  We all wish the best for each other.  Always.  Thanks for such a nice blog!!!!  Have a great day
