Our journey together is too short

As humans, If we did follow what kind of concepts this is. This story has a beautiful message for us.

A young lady sat on a bus. At the next stop, an old lady got on the same bus and sat next to the young lady. She spoke loudly and looked grumpy. She squeezed the seat with her big sized bags. The person, who sat on the other side of the young lady, got upset and asked, "I can guess that you feel much uncomfortable. But why don’t you say anything to her about your inconvenience".

The young lady responded with a nice smile.

"It is not necessary to be rude or argue over something so insignificant, the journey together is too short. I get off at the next stop".

These words deserve to be written in golden letters.

“*It is not necessary to be rude or argue over something so insignificant. Our journey together is too short*”

If we can understand that our time here is too short. Quarrels, futile arguments, not forgiving others, discontentment and a fault finding attitudes and many of our negative thoughts are wasting our time and energy.

Did someone break your heart? Did someone betray, bully cheat or humiliate you? Whatever troubles anyone makes, we should bethink,

Our journey is too short. Therefore, be calm, be humble and be forgiving.

No one knows, the duration of this journey. No one knows, when the end comes. Do we know, what is the point we will get off from our life journey?

So, Let us cherish family and friends.  Let us be respectful, kind and forgiving each other. Let us fill our lives with gratitude and gladness.

Because our journey together is too short!!!!

Life is so large to explore, to enjoy  and to share with. All the complaints and resentments are just trivials.  Thanks Mayumi for sharing this brilliant reflection with us.

This kind of writing deserves of around of applause and standing ovation. Rare and gold.

Thank you for this reminder. From time to time we need this kind of reflection. To pause and see the kind of living we do on this space. I agree with you. There are a lot of things to be grateful on this wonderful world. That blaming, complaining or resentments are just trivials. Life is so large to explore, to enjoy, to share with and so much little time to experience what we are supposed to experience here. Life is for growing and advancement. To attain the highest ideals of our self.  And so we should cherish the journey together.

Thanks again for this beautiful and very reflective writing. This is what people need to ponder.

This is really a good advice for all of us. Let's use our short and limited time efficiently and positively, hopefully love and peace will spread everywhere , and not hatred.
