Polomi Siddique i!i! HOW TO MAKE GOOD FRIENDS i!i!

I never really had a lot of friends in my life. The number always maintained the range 2-3. I have to concede it’s my entire fault though. Because I never communicate with people much beyond formal needs. I just expect people to come up and talk to me rather than me approaching them and start a conversation. I know it sounds ridiculous but trust me this has always been the case. It’s probably because I feel I don’t have that enough friendly… Continue

The Effects of Being a Foreign Student

Usually becoming a foreign student in order to study in another city can change your life in many aspects. Living in a city far away from home can bring many consequences and effects which almost always change a student’s form of life. When I became a foreign student, many things changed or had to change. You do not live with your family, so usually you have to learn how to live in harmony with others, how to do things by yourself, how to move to other places, etc. Being a foreign makes you… Continue

All sensible people through out the world have a deeper respect for King Alfred the great. He had faith in education. In educating. His statue shows a scroll in one hand in another hand there is an axe. The woodcutter's have. A strange combination. An axe and a scroll. He did many wonderful things. Built churches. Built schools. Amidst the ferocious struggle with the Danes. How could he find time for all the things he had achieved?

A lovely song:Over the Rainbow

Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high

There's a land that I heard of once in a lullaby

Somewhere over the rainbow, skies are blue

And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true

Someday I'll wish upon a star

And wake up where the clouds are far behind me

Where troubles melt like lemon drops

Away above the chimney tops

That's where you'll find me

Somewhere over the rainbow, bluebirds… Continue

Polomi Siddique Change of human brain Infuenced by change in status

There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind... She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She told her boyfriend, 'If I could only see the world, I will marry you.'

One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend.

He asked her,'Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?'… Continue

The mouse and the camel, a warning against spiritual pride

A LITTLE mouse once caught in its paws a camel's head-rope and in a spirit of emulation went off with it. Because of the nimbleness with which the camel set off along with him the mouse was duped into thinking himself a champion. The flash of his thought struck the camel.

'Go on, enjoy yourself,' he grunted. 'I will show you!'

Presently the mouse came to the margin of a great river, such as would have cast down any lion or wolf. There the mouse halted, struck all of a… Continue
