learning a language is a fun, skill, interest or maybe an educational demand. My Bday Lunch at Pizza Hut

Sorry I don't upload any photos coz it is my private collections with my best friend.

You see it's so hard to arrange appointment especially with a house wife like her.

My stomach is full but my male friend who works here offers us free salad.

My husband advised me not to take advantage of him. But it's impolite if I say no, right?

After all it's my 39th bday why can't I eat and have fun with free WIFI?

He even brought us a bowl of ice creams! Lucky…

It can be so hard to pronounce a word correctly

Yes, it may have something to do with pronunciation if you find it hard to memorize a word or understand what they're saying or said on the radio or TV.

Some words are so hard to pronounce, though. It helps if you have learned how to pronounce a word by the International Phonetic Alphabet or Smart Phonics, but it doesn't work when you're trying to pronounce a word which is derived from Latin or Greek or other non-English languages. How about some of the names of people, places,…

A poem to "Danny's challenge:One More Writing Challenge: Write a Funny Story or a Poem Using Some Words from Jeopardy Game"

Just a boffola?

A very funny deipnosophist

was working as a columnist.

His name was Aron-Asimoto,

he called himself "The couch potato".

A dry run or a rehearsal,

was used by him as dispersal.

To screw up that was not his way

not even not for just to play.

As mister of the universe,

he loved…

Why is English Important to me?

Bangladesh, basically a struggling country of South Asia is known to all as the land of poor people and natural calamities, although it's also the land of longest sea beach Cox's Bazar and biggest Mangrove Forest Sundarban.

However, I have to admit that, as a developing country we have plenty of problems too.

As I told you in my…

Danny's challenge:One More Writing Challenge: Write a Funny Story or a Poem Using Some Words from Jeopardy Game

There was a man and his name was John. He was 30 years old at that time of my story.

I am sure, if COUCH POTETO or  MOUSE POTETO were professions, John would have had been one of the people with one of that kind of professions. John has lived in a big house. He has left the house very seldom. He wasn't that communicative, what means he wasn't a DEIPNOSOPHIST.

John has loved his big house with air condition inside and a TRANSOM outside.…

The „untranslatable” emotions you never knew you had.

This morning, while going through the news on BBC, I came across an interesting article written by David Robson dealing with "foreign" words used to describe emotional feelings in a research project carried out by Tim Lomas.

The below posted entry is a resume of a long article in a form of passages randomly selected to my whim and fancy.…

Pay and Kill (Part 5-Change)

For how many years I had lived a solitary life, but not anymore, I didn’t choose this, still, it happened, I didn’t ask yet it came, and I won’t deny the overjoyed emotions captivated my being. It feels like home.

“Father, my teacher told me you need to visit my school. She wants to talk to you.” Light said that early evening.

“Why so? What did you do this time?” I said calmly to my 5-year-old “son”.

“You’re always thinking the worst about me, Father. She wants to tell…

Writing challenge of Onee: An unforgettable stranger

That day, I was upset. And the reason was that despite knowing all the answers I did not answer my teacher’s questions in class because I couldn’t speak English like my classmates.

That was not the first time I had that kind of experience. In simple parlance, it happened to me most of the time.

This still happens to me. I am scared while speaking English. As you all know very well that I am poor at English. But I am tense for only 5 -6 minutes not more than this….…. …
