Regarding Religion and Our Vast Differences (from an American point of view)

As a somewhat, controversial, yet, good standing member of English Club, I always do my very best to help out all of our members. I'm a native speaker who carries a great deal of responsibility when logging into this site while joking around with the more humorous members.

The topic and subject that I'm about to relate to is somewhat of a "touchy issue" and the story is a bit symbolic in it's nature. Please don't take offense. The entire story is written with the best of intentions.…

The man made me feel annoying

There's a guy, he is my teamleader. He often feel good and to make decisions for others' business. We all guys in the office don't buy it and extremely hate what he did like this.

Our boss hired a foreign teacher to help us improve our English skills. And the teamleader has maaaaaaaaaaaany problems with lessons. He always said to teacher what should to do and what should not to be, as if his English were very well. He get used to take control of people, even the teacher.

Celestial(sky) burial in Tibet

Sky Burial in Tibet

Tibetans practice several different forms of funeral: sky burial (or celestial burial), water funeral, cremation, interment and stupa burial. Which one is chosen depends on the wealth and social status of the deceased.

Sky burial is to feed vultures with the body of the dead. After vultures finish eating the body and fly into…

This is the life

This is the life

This is the life as it used to be

Nothing to give you and nothing to me

Although you think you're in the ceown

You do something that makes you down

So you have to think and think

To make your thoughts don't shrink

And if you want to stand up again

You have to make what will you want to attain?

In this life all things did change

Just the love still strange

In this life you must feel ache

For everything…

The age has rules

I don't reveal a secret when I say that I stand just a few steps away from the fifty. Every day, I ask myself the same question, (Will I keep doing the same things that better suit those who are still young?). Frankly speaking, that question makes me suffer from an inner conflict between my dreamy heart and my realistic mind.  My heart insists on dreaming and flying but my mind wants me to stand and freeze where I am.

The desires, inclinations and passions, which fill my soul, hinder…

Every day book store

Good morning, I like reading and buying a lot of books. I basically like being in the bookstores for long hours without being bored. Lately it came to my mind that I should open my own business which is bookstore. All the book stores here in Basra are small and don’t have all kinds of books and we don’t have a second hand book stores. So, if anyone have any opinion or suggestion to help me where I can buy the books online or where in any country this will be great. Also I need to know if…

HAPPINESS

Hello everyone.

Today I wake up in a sad and blue mood. I don't know why I am down; so I decided to reflect on that.

We are in a world that have created for us needs and dreams. Sometimes, those dream and needs are real but most of the cases, they are just: created. Who says that you need a cellphone with lots of app, who told you that if you are no success you are not gonna be happy. Who considers that happiness may be just found on material think. Sometimes, I say to myself.…

Believe it or Not

Now, I'm working at INGO (international non-government organisation). Every Monday to Friday, I use to work from 8 o'clock to 5 o'clock. I'm dealing with more than 100 people at my work. So, we have different opinion on some cases. That time, we have to solve these to complete the work.

After solving, the result couldn't give satisfaction to both side. After this, we can't talk as normal thinking nothing happened between us. It will happen all the time, because we are dealing with people.… Continue

worries about pronunciation: f&v sounds' case

I've decided to improve my pronunciation with help of teachers from italki, my favorite source of finding teachers :)

And this morning I had a class about f a v sounds in cases when they go together in one word, like in words five, favor, fervent, fever, flavor. And I should say, as always it was fantastic.

Except learning of how to pronounce sounds correctly, on my opinion, it's important to don't forget about your manner or style, and, of…

How To Earn A True EC Sense of Humor

In life, it's my belief that the very best learners of good humor and comedy have earned their expertise through hardship, pain, and suffering.
