    Yes, it's a crater lake that locates on the border between China and North Korea.

    Actually, this is one of the most popular tour destinations in China. The lake is a volcano lake - people usually call it 'Heaven Lake'!

    Beautiful, i love the different shades of the green color and the tiny flowers growing at the border of the mud and the grass. Very nice photo.

    I took it several years ago on my trip to that area of China. It was very very beautiful - you see, words fail me here. Countless people visit the volcano lake every year. And yes, the best time to go is summer.
