Photo Challenge: My Hobby

One of my hobbies is learning language, especially the script. Never had I imagine that with pen we can create various kinds of sketches and sense to communicate with people. This makes me wonder and excited about it.

Arabic - I had been learning Arabic for 9 years at school. It is also my Holy Qur'an language. However, I admit that I forgot a lot of the details due to the bustle at this moment. :D

Japanese - I had been learning Japanese for a year when I was a Senior High School student. Thereafter, I also had been taking a course for 6 months. However, my Japanese can never improve due to the rare use.

Well, Japanese can never be separated from Chinese Letters. You can see 181 Chinese characters , its Hiragana (Japanese), and its meaning (Indonesian) I wrote when I was a Senior High School student in the comment below.

Korean - I've just learned this language since I like watching epic Korean Drama nowadays. Please forgive my first classic Hangul writing. :D (I wrote it again in modern Hangul in the comment, so please see) :D

English - I like this language since I was in grade 6. Formerly, I learned a lot from listening to English song.

Indonesian - It is my native language.

Please forgive my imperfect writings and in case of error. :D I hope you can tell me and let me know your view. Many thanks and have a lovely November! ^_^

Actually I was surprised and amazed by this your photo and hobby! ^_^

  • Dear Roman,

So many thanks. ^_^ I still have some languages and scripts that I want to learn but I don't know when I have time for it. :D

Well, you know that this is my hobby. So, travelling in those countries in not much in need to me. However, I wish I can travel abroad anywhere with family, not alone. ^_^

Thank you once again for your great appreciation. ^_^

  • WOW! Onee!

I don't know, what to say first...

    This is amazing!

You are a polyglot! And I like your calligraphy so much!

Do you want to travel to each of those countries?:)

I wish your to realize your dreams and travel to each of those countries!:)

  • Agree with you, Teacher Alan.

Those scripts are somehow more difficult to read, write and learn than abc. I consider them as the most precious art in language.

Thank you so much for your appreciation, my dear teacher. ^_^

  • The Arabic, Korean and Chinese are especially interesting and very impressive. I think it's great to learn these other scripts. It helps us appreciate how difficult it is for other people to learn our own native languages. English acquires an extra level of difficulty for people who normally use a different script.

  • Teacher Alan,

Thank you so much for your visit and compliment. Handwriting defines a person though not all are true. And I still see the other handwriting are lovelier. ^^

Thank you for congratulating and encouraging me.... ^^
