But i miss shops in my vicinity back there in Karachi, just go out of the gate of apartment and buy whatever you want for your daily use, not need to make purchase in big quantity, you can buy on daily basis, but here, we have to plan, then visit the mall to make weekly grocery. Sometimes it takes half of our Saturdays.
Mall's construction/ structure is same everywhere, just decoration differs and size. I have seen in Dallas the mall so high that almost ten story height chrismas tree is erected there.
Yes, dara one have to have self control on such places or should have lot of money. I do not do any purchasing, but my family occasionally/frequently does.
Spectacular Mall. It do not look so crowded. We have a similar one here, reminds me of this in your photo - Fields.
Probably the shopping malls in The US, have an inspirational architecture for other countries to be inspired, to build in the same way, because building constructions are hugely built there.

Not so long ago one mall has been opened in my city! And it looks very similary to this one:) From first look I even thought "Omg, is it our "FORUM" mall?" :)
