Photo Challenge # 18: idiom 'love at first sight'

idiom 'love at first sight'
meaning: an immediate strong attraction for
someone you just met

The implication is that this attraction is due to external factors: physical attractiveness and charm. It is not based on knowledge of the other person's thoughts or personality.

The male pigeon says: "Love at first sight - I never believed in it before - but now - "

Some more examples:

The fact was that Sir Agravaine had fallen in love at first sight.

When Billy met Cassie, it was love at first sight. He was stunned by her casual charm and elegant figure."

The photo was taken in Moscow last summer.
Do you know any other idioms describing the picture?

Galina,

Gosh! I just remembered that you’ve gone to visit your mother and there’s nobody to feed the pigeons. But don’t worry! I’ll take good care of them during your absence. You have a wonderful time with your mum, ok?

Hello, Bright-Rubies!

I completely agree with you that these cute birds are totally in love! When I saw them I was immediately fascinated with them and tried to take a photo. It was rather difficult because they were moving all the time. I have some shots of them. They're nice, too. Thanks for the nice comment!

Hello, Asif!

Thanks for the nice quote. I completely agree with it. Your quote inspired me to look for some more quotes about men and women. Here's one which is also suitable to the picture:

"When a woman is talking to you, listen to what she says with her eyes."
