I am happy because here in my country we had major events. One of the most great activities done this year were the of demonstrations of strikes against the government. These demonstrations were peaceful. I share with you a photo about demonstrations it was taken front of the government building.

I am glad because people nowadays has more interest about the work that government does. This year we have chosen New government authorities. I hope the next year there are more Changes. I hope you enjoy your holiday with their family and I wish you Happy New Year.

Hi, everybody! I like to write post because They help me to improve my english and all members help me too. I want to practice my writing skills in this post. Nowadays there are different ways to practice and learn english. Since I started to be a member of this page I have learned much about language english. I enjoy reading posts. Today I want to talk about music because it helps us in our learning too.

Music can be useful because you can learn while you listen it. Music can help us to feel better in our work. I like several kinds of music like music in english. My favorite band is Flyleaf from United States. I like the Music of my country too. The most popular music here is played with the instrument called "La Marimba". I listen it in activities cultural. Hi, everybody. I am happy because this page is very useful. I am learning something new everyday. I thank all who have helped me correct my blogs. I want to improve my writing skills and I can see this page help me very much. I would like to tell you about Antigua Guatemala this is one of the most places visited in Guatemala. Because this town was the capital of my country during the Spanish conquest. However the most attractive of this town is the style of the houses because you can see wonderful views that there is on the streets.

A lot of people visit this town every year. On the streets you can see some painters that display their painting. Many people buy these pictures like souvenir of this town. Antigua Guatemala is about one hour from the city and near the Volcano of Water. People are friendly, you can see several activities cultural during the year. I visit this place every year I like to take pictures and I like to walk around there. If you can help me correct this blog Thank. I share with you one picture of Antigua Guatemala. We usually heard it when we were child. Sometimes our parents asked us about this topic. But it is difficult to reach our goals when we are younger. Because usually we have to work to pay our studies or maybe we have to help with household expenses. However I think we do better the activities that we like more. A few years ago I worked at a hospital in my country like a receptionist. I worked there around three years in this time I learned a lot of things about the activities of a hospital. Also I learned about kinds of jobs that there is in a hospital. However I admired more the doctor´s and nurses´s job.

Because They have to do a lot of works. They have to attend a lot of people and sometimes it was a hard work because people arrived too ill. I had a lot of work too I like to attend people also. But I admired more the works of them because it was more delicate. I saw that They do not do this work by money. Someone does this work because They like this job and the profession. Then I understood that usually we felt well when we help someone and this make us to be happy. I had a good experience of life there. If you can correct this notebook Thank you.

I would like to share with you. A great festival of kites. Today I went at the city of my country on my way I saw a lot of people go out of the city. Then I remembered that Today there was a great festival of kites near of the city. In all the country the people fly Kites and others countries too. But these kites are very big and very colorful. Some kites are displayed. You can look on them pictures about the cultural of my country. Today we remember our families that have died. We visited their tombs usually people fly their kites there in the cemetery. A long time ago people thought that kites were communicating with departed souls. Now It is more cultural. I was sleeping in the night. Then I felt thirsty I got up to drink a glass a water. When I came back to me room. I saw a black cat, It cried like a baby. I felt afraid and I could not walk well on my return.

Today in the afternoon I went to see the cycling race with my brother and my sister. This event is usually do in this season every year in my country. When I was child every year my father took me to see this event with my brother, today he could not. I enjoyed this event because people around here go out to see in main road the cycling race. I think we usually remember the good memories in our lives and these make us feel happy. Few year ago I worked in the city of my country and I could not to see this event and I could not to stay many days with my family. I missed this event and others. Hi, everybody. I want to talk about Typical Costumes of my country. In my country there are a lot of Typical Costumes. I live in a small town outside the city called "Chimaltenango" and here woman usually wear this costumes and men don't usually wear those costumes. However in other towns around here men wear them. When I travel another town I can see different costumes that people wear. These are usually handmade with several types of yarn. The costumes are expensive and very colorful. Every town is wonderful and people speak different kind of language. There are about twenty language in my country. Unfortunately I do not speak any language, but my parents speak the language called "Kaqchikel" when they speak me in this language I understand a little. I like to learn about the culture of my country and another countries. 

Hi, everybody. I want to share you a good experience of live. Last year I climbed one of the volcanoes that there is in my country. It is not far away, from where I live this volcano is called "Volcan de Acatenango". In my country there are about thirty volcanoes. I scaled it with a group of fifteen people. It was very exciting because, we all wanted stayed that night in the top of the volcano. But first we walked about thirty minutes to arrive in the forest. There were a lot of birds their singing were very beautiful. We began to climb about eight in the morning and we rested few times during the route. We reached the top at about the six in the evening. The sun was setting and we observed the entire firmament. We were happy and we wanted to look around there. The view was wonderful but we needed to look for somewhere to camp.We began to feel cold and little tired in that hour. After dinner we looked at another volcano that was near where we were, this volcano is called "volcano of fire". This volcano is active and in that time the volcano was erupting. It was amazing. We passed that night camping there.

The next day we returned. In fact It was very good experience. I would like to climb another one volcano.

Yesterday afternoon I went out for a walk with my friends. They were glad to walk. We went to the forest. This forest is near my town and there is beautiful view there. Next to the forest there is a football field where some young guys were playing football. We stood watching the boys playing. Then we decided to go down to the forest. I asked them them why don´t we walk inside the forest. We arrived at a small river and we sat down near the river. We heard the sounds of the water,the birds and sounds of the animals that live there.The sun was shining. We felt fresh air, we talked about what we saw. We stood there about thirty minutes. Then we decided to go back running, it was cold but we were laughing. We arrived at the football field near the trees. We rested and we lay down on the grass, and drank something. We were happy because this helped us to get rid of stress from work and we talked to went back again there. 

Hi, everybody. I am learning english and I would like to speak it fluently. I like this language nowadays I am studying it at university. I am motivated because I can to understand the teacher and I can to understand some videos. I practice with my classmate but sometimes it is a little difficult because we have to do a lot of work. I like to read loud and listen to music I think we need to practice it everyday to improve our english.

Hi, everybody. This month we celebrate The Day of The Independence of my country that is 09/15/1821. During this month there are a lot of cultural activities. I live in a small town near the city and every year, one day before the main date, people go to another city. This trip is very fun. Last year I went with my brother's school. Usually schools go to attractive places in my country like beaches, aquatic parks, and tourist attractions. We went to an aquatic park outside  of the city near the sea. However the most fun was traveling back. I think it was more fun for me, because we met with another schools. People saluted us, buses honked their horns, and some children throwed us bags of water. We arrived in the evening in our town and we brought the fire symbol of independence. The next day there was a cultural parade. I like this month because there are a lot of cultural activities and I am proud of my country. If you can, correct this notebook. Thank you.
