Silent tsunami in the Sunda Strait

Liputan6.com, Jakarta - The Sunda Strait tsunami is estimated to have killed more than 430 people and injured 1,000 more. The disaster also damaged many homes in Pandeglang and Serang, Banten Province, and South Lampung, Lampung Province.
The brunt of the Sunda Strait tsunami on Saturday night, December 22, 2018, surprised residents. There is no warning shortly after a potential tsunami tectonic earthquake.  

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) later confirmed that the tsunami that hit Banten and Lampung was triggered by the volcanic eruption of Anak Krakatau, a mountain formed after the great eruption of Krakatau in 1883 ago.

Causes of tsunami signs were not detected :
