This week we gonna talk about Fire ants. sounds Interesting..

Fire ants (genus Solenopsis) are a variety of stinging ants with over 285 species worldwide. They have several other common names, including ginger ants, tropical fire ants, red ants and semut Rangkang (in bahasa indonesia)

Fire ants live in a colony with only one queen. (let's talk about the queen.. I hope she is so beautiful) the queen is the largest individual in a colony, and her primary jobs is Reproduction. she may life for 6 to 7 years (that's a short life  for a queen.. you need more my queen, hehe) and can produce 3500 eggs in a day.. (what?? that's a lot..) and roughly 9 millions eggs in her life time. young, virgin queens have wings (as do males) but.. they rip them off after mating.

that's all about the queens.. but what about the males?  well. the males are looks like the other ants, but it's bigger than and smaller than the queens, It has wings too,, but the bad news is after they mating the queen, they die immedietely..  (that's bad..)

Fire ants will do everything to save their eggs and their queen, they can sting and inject a toxic alkaloid venom called Solenopsin, it sting is so painful for human,a sensation similar to what one feels when burned by Fire, (that's hurt..) that is for enemies.. but what about if they get a disaster? such as flood, can they save their queen? what do you think? may be not.. but the answer is they can save the queen. but how?? hahaha.. they make their own raft.. raft??

Fire Ants can make a raft from their body.. they are holding other Fire ants to make it, in those way they keep the eggs and queen keep dry and evacuate them from flood.. Impossible huh? hahaha that is what I though before but let's check out the picture bellow..

Welcome to Talk About Animal!

Its the first week we will have a lot of news about animal. I'm Huge Big Beluga whale will be your Tour guide. today, we talks about one of my friend Indonesian Mimic Octopus.

it is looks like  another octopus but it has a small size. small but we can't  say they are weak. they have really good intelligent, why I said  like that??  yeah, it's not a big secret anymore, hehe

this kind of Octopus able to change their body (I mean they Tentacles) looks like other Animals when they feeling in danger. well It's so different with me..  Usually I hide on the kelp forest or maybe hide in the LaaLaa's Back

I will not tell more.. but it's really interesting! they could change to be Lionfish, Seasnake, Flatfish, even jelly fish. Amazing!!! (and I hope it couldn't change to be a Whale like me).

Well, I have a lot of ideas to make new blogs, but i had a new one this afternoon when i was in a park. There are a lot of families there, walking together, looking around, taking some pictures with their family.

All of these were ordinary activities that I see everyday, But there was one moment that made me so Miss someone, someone who always with me previously. Yeah.. it all started from a man with his son, They looked so happy. Then they came over and greeted me (maybe because they saw that I was watching them). They invited me to join them. At first, I felt so happy - until i remembered my Daddy,, He was so kind - like that man. After that I just wanted to go home, so i did. I Thanked them for the precious moment but it was hard for me to enjoy it.

After all, I just remembered the time when my dad left my mother, all of us. He passed away with peace. Passed away with a smile. Next month was the month when he left us in that year,  and next month will be exactly the 11th year he left me,

WOW!! a little nervous to start with.. but lets start.. It's my first blog, then lets see what will i write in here,, ^^

I'm trying to write it due to motivation from all members in here, starting from Pash.. He wrote a good 2-part story about Knowledge (AWESOME BLOGS),, after writing a comment on there, i felt so happy and wanted to comment more Articles, Then i went to the main room, I saw 3 best blog's post,, trying to read them one by one,, but decided to choose Seeker's blogs.

From that blogs I learnt something new,, Seeker just wrote an introduction of himself and it can be a blog..The 2nd post was about his feelings when he wrote that blog, nervous and worried about the wrong usage of grammar (and i felt it now). Only that!! and can be a blog!!(FANTASTIC, right??)

After many hour of thinking.. Grapieee came into the main room and said that she wanted to read Noaslpls' blogs.. It made me so curious (because Grapieee said that Noas' blogs were like heroin -___-" and that's right) Grapieee shared the link. and taaadaaaa!!!!! after a hard effort to read it (so hard because i felt so lazy to read long story). I was so TOUCHED by that story and made me almost crying (in the fact, I did cried T_T).

Thus, i wrote this post,, It was hard and looked like a bad blog, atleast they gave me a lot of motivation.. gave me a lot care,, and gave me a lot of love too,, Thank you, we're not only FRIENDS in here but a huge "FAMILY",, i love you all (Granny noaslpls, Auntie Mickey, Brother Pash, Mbeb LaaLaa, Mbeb Oktavia and other,, you're my "FAMILY") HUGS HUGS HUGS
