  yes, as you wrote,  the change of japanese verb depend on the function.

   

  We have many functions. I think that you just need to  memorize basic things.

  Japanese has standard rules in term of grammer, on the other hand, the language has many special rules. I mean.... Jaapnese has a kind of tourblesome languages,
