India became the first and the only country in the world to put a spacecraft into the orbit of Mars in its first attempt in September 2014. The Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM), also called Mangalyaan, is the most cost-effective mars mission in the world. The told cost is approximately US$73 million. Cost of the spacecraft is just 11% of Nasa’s similar mars mission. 

I was 15 when the 9/11 terrorist attack took place in the US in 2001. I vividly remember what exactly happened On the tragic day of September the 11^th. My friends and I were playing cricket in the evening in our neighborhood, we played the game continuously for more then three hours we were all very tired I came back home to take a glass of water, I sat on my bed and switched on the TV, but most of the TV channels were not getting proper signals for so many days due to a technical snag (They were blur) so  I could only see some kinds of explosions but I could not figure out what was exactly happening. I switched off the TV and went to one of my friends house and there I saw the tragedy unfolding on the Television screen that time the first plane had hit one of the two towers as we were watching the tower burning suddenly we saw another plane coming towards the other tower and hitting it. The incident was really horrible. For the first few seconds I couldn't believe my eyes, After that I went back home and informed  my parents about it..........I still have a copy of a NEWS paper which was published the very next day of the attack (On the 12^th of September 2001). I have posted the photograph of its front page below.

Rupert Murdoch the chief executive of News Corporation was attacked by an intruder with a plateful of foam on Tuesday, July 19th. Rupert Murdoch was being grilled by British MPs over the phone hacking scandals in the house of commons where he was present with his wife Wendi Deng and his son James Murdoch who is also the COO of the company when the incident occurred. Wendi Deng who was sitting right behind her husband, Lunged at the attacker and hit him twice in order to keep the attacker away from her husband. Later the attacker was arrested by the London police. Earlier both Rupert Murdoch and his son James Murdoch apologized to the victims of phone hacking scandals but they also said that were misled by some of their employees. The entire questioning was televised live all over the world.

Afghan President Hamid Karzai's brother Ahmad Wali Karzai has been assassinated on the 12th of July 2011 by one of his own bodyguards at his residence in Kandahar. Ahmad wali Karzai was addressing a public rally when his assassin open fired at him  He sustained bullet injuries in the neck and head  He was rushed to nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead President Hamid Karzai was with the French president Nicolas Sarkozy when the incident took place The Taliban has claimed the responsibility of Ahamd's assassination  Earlier in 2009 an attempt was made on his life but escaped unharmed in the attack. his assassin was shot dead on the spot by other security guards.
