Writing challenge: My Father

A Short Biography Of My Dad

How can I start I don’t know. I am a member of a big family. We are six brothers and four sisters. Now a day we can’t think about this type of big family. But it was reality. We lived in a beautiful village. Our big family was fully agro based. But it was so difficult to meet up all the necessaries from the earning of out agriculture firm. But there was no other way. At one stage we all the brothers and sisters were student. Some were university going, some were college going and some were school going. So can you imagine and realize our situation?

Almost everyday we need to buy some educational equipment to continue out study. But it was so difficult for my father to meet up every ends but he did it successfully. We all were meritorious. We all graduated from college and university. Now we all are in service. But can you think how much sacrifice it was from my father. He did his best for us. He did not think his own happiness. He did not buy good cloth for his own but he did it for us. He did not have good food for his own but he did it for us. He worked hard with the day labors but he did not engage us in doing any laborious work. His behavior was so polite. He was always smiling to others. He was very much respectable person in the locality as well as he was friendly to everybody. He was so delighted person with awesome sense of humor. No familiar passer-by can pass him without talking anything with him. He was very much helping minded also. If anybody demanded anything he tried his best to meet it up. He was a good story teller. He can tell story all through the night. His style of story telling was so interesting that nobody could leave the spot and slept even small children could not go to the bed leaving the spot.

When we grew up and managed to get the job we needed to leave the village home. We had to leave them (father and mother) alone. It was irony of fate that almost all the brothers and sisters had to go outside the village. But we visited them at least once in a month. When we went to my father he would be so happy for our presence. He demanded nothing from us. If we indented to give him some money he told, “No need, I shall be happy if you spent it for your own”.

As time was passing father was becoming older and older. When he was about 75 years of old he struck by heart attack and lost his normal movement. But hopefully he was recovering day by day. At last he was almost normal and leading a normal life. When I last visited my father I proposed him to visit my city residence which I built just before some days. He agreed and I was very much happy hearing this because my father and mother would stay with me at least for some days. We planned to visit national zoo and Botanical garden with them.

 My village home is not far away from the capital city. I want to mention here that my village home is adjacent to the high way. My mother always reminded my father to be careful about the road crossing. But my father did not pay heed and crossed the road without much care. One day when he was coming back from a function arranged by the local school and at the time of crossing the road he struck by a car and fell down. He was injured seriously. Soon he was admitted in hospital and we rushed to the hospital but nobody of us made any contact with him. He was fully unconscious. He was treated for two days but ultimately he did not come back.

 Ultimately he did not visit my residence and we did not visit National Zoo and Botanical garden with him accordingly our plan. And he will never visit my residence. It was destined. It is the reality of life. I have lost my father and everybody has to face the same. None can avoid it.

My father did a lot for us. I am happy and proud of being his son. He always tried his best make my life easier. O Allah my creator gives him a beautiful place in the heaven.

My Mother is praying for me.

I love my mother and

I love my mother!

But she is far away from me,

She will never come back from there.

My mother  was so caring that

She did not make any time for her own good,

She was so sacrificing for me

Even that she could scarified her happiness for me.

My mother was so loving that

She could do everything for me,

She felt so anxiety for me when I was ill,

Even then she could not  slept at night.

But now she is far away from me

And I don't know how well she is.

But I know she is still so caring for me

May be she is now praying for me.

Owner of the assets

Did you bring anything in this world

when you were born,

of course not;

Did you remember anything

when you were born,

of course not;

Could you speak anything

when you were born,

of course not;

Could you eat or drink anything

without help your mother,

when you were born

of course not;

But you are given all that

as your requirements.

But now-

you have almost forgotten all of them.

Moreover, you are given all the lot

that is not really measurable.

But you are enjoying everything

only for the time being.

You are not owner of that assets.

Because you have to turn to Him (Creator),

Leaving all these assets;

Everybody has to turn back

to the almighty creator.

and you will not be able

to carry anything out of this world.

I am trying to learn English.I am trying to be fluent in English. I am trying to communicate with others easily. I am trying to write Correct English sentence. But doing these I am facing a lot of problems:

-I am living in non-English environment.So I can't apply what I am learning everyday.

-In my office I can't use English.

-I don't have scope to communicate with others in English because people with whom I work and meet everyday they are not English speaking people.

-So I don't have English learning field.

Could you  tell me, how can I overcome these problems. How  can I make an English learning field. Still I am trying to learn English. I think we can help each other in this field.  We can help each other by communicating with each other in English. Can't we? You can help me in learning English if you wish. I am just a learner.I want to learn something new everyday. Learning is a continuous process.So You can be my learning partner. Wish you all the best.

Some healing for woman bullied as a teen

A woman who was bullied mercilessly in high school 25 years ago has gotten some closure from a class reunion page on Facebook.
Lynda Frederick, a graduate of Orange Glen High in Escondido, Calif., in 1987, posted a heartbreaking poem about her experience on her school's 25th class reunion page.
Excerpts:
that little girl who came to school with the clothes she wore the day before
instead of asking why.. you picked on her...
the little girl who had bruises and was dirty
instead of asking why.. you picked on her
that little girl was me...
that little girl had love in her heart to share with all but no one wanted it...
this WOMEN has grown up now
however the little girl inside still crys
because her childhood was shattered
The post resulted in an outpouring of support and regret from former classmates.

-I have posted this just share this with you.I have gone through this Excerpts for several times. It is little but great. It makes me thinking about our attitude to the children. Not only this way, we also shattered their childhood in many ways. But we don't hear their inside cry. Respect to Lynda Frederick.

International Mother Language day

21 February was the "International mother language day". We have observed  the day with defining manner. Do you know some of our the then students fight for our mother language.The then Pakistan Government declared that only Urdu shall be state language. Do you thing  How dare it was! Protesting against this declaration some Students accompanied with general mass people  took out a procession from the University premises. The then Pakistan Government ordered the military to shoot them (students and mass people). Some of them gave their lives for our mother language. For that now we can talk in Bangla. Bangla is out mther tongue. Please think once, if anybody force you not to talk with your mother using your mother tongue!

But our great fighter fight against them and ultimately won. So now we can talk with my mother using out mother tongue Bangla.
