Inclusive Action plan for developing English skills

General Goal

Refined and perfect reading, writing, speaking and listening English skills

Objectives:

  1. Writing English professionally.
  2. Speaking English fluently.
  3. Reading English easily and quickly.
  4. Listening English easily.

How to achieve those goals?

Action 1:

  1. Choose an article, book, website or whatever English document you are interested in.
  2. Read the article carefully, notice the new vocabulary, sentences, idioms,.etc.
  3. Look for the new words in "Macmillan dictionary" by which you can recognize whither they're used commonly and widely or not.
  4. Right down the new vocabularies in a schedule with listing an example for a sentence of use for each one.
  5.   Revise the recorded vocabularies repeatedly from time to time to keep memorizing them easily.
  6.  When reading the article, try to repeat the phrase of the article in your words, this will help in enrich your mind by new expressions and strengthen your memory.
  7. Practices:

-          Choose a topic to write in (write, revise and re-revise…).

-          Think of any subject and speak about it using your words, sometimes use your words quickly, other time try to express in other words in order to keep it up in your mind.

-          Watch and listen carefully to English subtitled videos, you may at first concentrate on reading the subtitles, but then you have to re-listen directly and concentrate on the sounds of the words. This may be more applicable for short videos as a beginner.

-          Try re-reading the article fast to improve your reading capability.

Action 2:

  1. Read and listen non-formally, choose any article to read and search for new vocabularies for the sake of keep full understanding not for recording and memorizing as mentioned in Action A.
  2. Get emerged in English movies, they will train your ear to hear English as much as possible.
