This morning is a very grey one.

Not only because of a typical spring weather. So many years were spent on useless and fake things like someone's good words or appreciation. First you try to be right as your parents want you to be or your close friends. Then you try to impress your colleagues and reach all your dreams and make your intentions real and successful. Also you try to be a perfect one for your soul mate because you don't want to make any mistakes and you try to hide some unpleasant parts of your soul. Time passes quickly. You've finally have everything you dreamt about. And? What's next?

A nice thought appeared in my head when I woke up. I remembered these words:

12403608091?profile=RESIZE_710x

We all know these simple things. Be yourself. Don't look at people behind your back and so on. But there's a huge difference between "I know" and "I do it every day".

So please, guys. Do it :) Let's just keep doing that :)

My life suitcase (part 2)

Welcome back to writing :)

I remembered the first part of this blog - you can read it here: https://www.myenglishclub.com/blogs/the-life-suitcase

Today I decided to re-check my suitcase again. My previous list was:

depositphotos_55020631-Open-vintage-suitcase-with-shoes.jpg

- good music and books

- people with the same interests and goals

- traveling card  and a map

- life targets

- ability to turn negative thoughts into positive

- healthy foods and a correct time-table of the day

Today I decided that even this list should become shorter. There's no place for life targets. Instead of it - enjoy and cherish your day because there will be no second chance or even maybe no tomorrow personally for you.

There's a place for many good books and some music. There's a small place for my bank card and iPhone (financial support, maps, navigator and connection to useful information).

There's no place for this ability to turn negative thoughts into positive. It's so useless. Each emotion teaches you something. Even despair and grief can be beuatiful and smart teachers.

I don't need any healthy foods and other ways of nutrition. Instead of it - listening to your own desires and needs. Your body knows whay it wants.  Just learn how to listen to it.

Timetables always drive me crazy. I got my FOMO-disorder (fear of missing out) because of it. And because of I burnt from inside. Instead of it - a reasonable attitude to work and tasks/projects.

The older you become,  the smaller your suitcase is. I guess in 10 years I'll have nothing there but those red shoes :)

Have you changed the list of things in your suitcase? How? Which?

THE LIFE SUITCASE

Good afternoon.

I guess many famous authors and writers created their novels because they wanted to share their feelings and emotions with this world. Seems that many people who practice blogging have the same intentions. I suppose that right now I'm doing the same.

It's not a secret that we all start living our real life when we are not as tasty and juicy as a fresh peach because you can realize and find your own way only when you have a great life experience (though it can be negative as well). This life experience is like a traveling luggage and it becomes bigger and bigger with years.

But...

It can become a comfortable suitcase only when you understand which things you need while you're traveling and which things are useless. So you life experience travel bag can become a cozy and comfortable device that has all necessary things.

Several years ago I had the same life suitcase as that guy on photo. It took many days to examine each thing in this suitcase with the help of a torch and to clean up every pocket.

I threw many things:

- useless anxiety and fears about people and life possibilities I face every day

- stress and insomnia

- bad nutrition, junk food and laziness

- my pink glasses that showed an ideal world

- hatred and anger

- passions

- non-productive thoughts about  future and my own goals

- my broken schedule of the day

- some of bad words :D

- all memories about men and love

- old clothes and socks

What is left:

- good music and books

- people with the same interests and goals

- traveling card  and a map

- life targets

- ability to turn negative thoughts into positive

- healthy foods and a correct time-table of the day

I suppose that my life suitcase looks like this one:

And you know when you have this S-size, life is easier as it may seems. Though I caught myself on the thought that it's really hard to throw away things you have been known for years - your memories, your feelings, your habits....Gosh. It's called by many scientists "Leaving the comfort zone". If you want to develop, you should always live your comfort zones and look for other ones.

If you could clean up your suitcase, what would you leave inside it?

Cheers, Honey Bee

Hello, people of the world.

Traditionally I write blogs after my trips so I'm doing it right now. In January 2016 I decided to go back to Bremen (Germany).

NB: as usual, all photos are taken by me :)

My previous trip to this cosy German city in summer is here: http://www.myenglishclub.com/profiles/blogs/opening-this-world-bremen-2015-germany

Winter Bremen looks like a fairy tale from Grimm Brothers' books. It's a pity that it was only for on day and then it melted. So I was lucky to take all those photos.

Frankly speaking I was afraid of going to Germany after New Year accidents in Cologne and other cities but it was good that I wasn't alone here. As I mentioned, Germans are still positive, nice and smiling people.

Famous Bremen Musicians :)

What new things I found this time? You know that if you come at the International Airport in Bremen, don't forget to enter and look at the ceiling :) I didn't mention it last time but this time I saw an International Space station and a Shuttle there. As I had to spend a night at the airport, I thought that I'm a spaceman :)))

Have fun and bright trips for you :)

Best regards, Jaque - Eves Beesto

Hi everyone!

I analyzed some things on my way home today and I came to one conclusion: life is difficult and hard only because of you...only because you want to see it. But why? Because if I complain that I have some problems, someone will pity me or help me and I'll get my portion of attention and care. Can't I get this another way?

Terrorists, bombs, rapes, criminals, lack of money, diseases, fights, conflicts, loneliness, sadness, disability to smile when you want cry, bad health, negative thoughts....Don't you think that it's like clothes you put on before you go to work when you wake up?

Hmmm.......

When we think this way, I suppose that we can look like that:

So this is you dressed in all your difficulties and no wonder that life is really hard for you. But you know that I want to take off these clothes and enjoy my life's beach:

I'd like to enjoy the sun without any fur coats that only disturb me. Why did we put on these clothes and don't want to get naked in moral sense of this word? Why do we prefer to move slowly with a lot of efforts rather than enjoying this beautiful sun and waves?

When I saw my house, I thought "Hey, so what should I do in order to enjoy this life until I'm alive?" The recipe is very simple....

Tired? - go and have a rest

Bored? - buy Ryanair ticket for 20 euros and go to Germany for a weekend

Miss someone? - call him/her and have a dinner together

Offended? - turn another side

Don't know what to do? - ask other people

Like someone? - tell him/her

Want to cry? - cry

Love someone? - conquer his/her attention

Don't like yourself? - change your body and appearance

Wanna be accepted and understood by others? - accept and understand other people too

Want to commit a suicide? - call someone or find a virtual partner

Lost your taste in life? - fall in love via Internet

Afraid of people? - go to pub, drink beer and dance till the morning with all people you meet

Wanna dreams come true? - realize them one by one

Wanna earn money? - work, change your work, change your country (pity that no planet is available for that)

Sad? - smile

Happy? - share with people

And no conclusion in the end....:)

Cheers, ConfuciusBee

Hello, everyone.

Today I read news on my Facebook page and I found an interesting report.

Due to the present situation in Syria and other countries we got a prejudice about people from that region. Today I don't want to discuss it. I want to translate this report from my native to you and show you another side of this complicated situation.

As usual, generals keep safe during the war, but only simple soldiers and people suffer. This is what happened with this man. His name is Abdul and he escaped from Syria with his family to Lebanon. He doesn't have a wife and he has 2 kids. For the last 4 years Abdul couldn't find any job due to the fact that he is a refugee.

Abdul tries to sell pens on the streets in order to have a piece of bread for his kids.

One blogger from Norway saw this situation and took a photo and posted it in social networks.

The photographer didn't expected such a reaction from people. He asked people to collect money for this guy and his family (at least 5 000$) but more than 127 000$ were collected.

Abdul decided to open a cafe, a restaurant and some other things in Lebanon where more than 16 Syrian people could find a job and save their families from hunger and poverty.

I decided to publish this blog because the first photo deeply touched me. The face of a guy who can't find bread and home for his 2 kids while we are sitting here in warm houses, with a sandwich and complaining about currency exchanges or bad neighbors. Gosh, sometimes humanity is too ego-centrated and this is cause of many problems on this planet.

If we paid more attention on people around us, we would see that some people feel and live even worse than you.

Compassion is the only way to save humanity from global war. I also read today a great quote: "How to stop terrorism and war? Don't take part in it and don't support it". Simple and genius.

Better help those who suffered and lost everything in these useless wars. I'm happy that this world has a great hope in the face of such people as this guy from Norway and from all over the world.

Cheers, cap bee

P.s. by the way, the main money was sent from the UK, the USA, the UAE and Saudi Arabia!

Hi!

I didn't plan to post a blog today but as I feel I need to do it. I chose the title for this blog "Time to assess your own life" because today i have my Happy birthday and I look on this day as a control point on the life road.

A birthday day isn't only a day when you get presents, great words and attention of all people but for me it's time for definite questions that can help you to assess your own presence on this planet.

And I asked myself "Am I good person?" We can get answer only if we assess real facts and events that can help us to prove it. The thing is that you shouldn't be loved and accepted by everyone on this planet but this special day can show the attitude of real people around you.

Then I asked myself "Do i lead a good life, do correct things and what is my biggest success in this life for the planet? Did I create anything special for the future? Is my life worth living? Don't I spend time just sleeping, eating, chatting and doing other things?" I guess these questions are a bit hard for us because here we need to face the true facts and deeds of our real life. and here we should be totally honest that if we didn't do anything, then ...we spent a useless life... for yourself...for your planet...for your future....

After that I asked myself "How many of my dreams have come true by this time of my life?"

And "Do I like the life I have now? Do I want to change it? If yes, then how?"

As you see, "Happy birthday day" with years turns into a time when we should ask ourselves many questions and the number of positive answers should increase with every year.

I believe that if you share positivity with this world, it will get back to you from many sides. So on this day I wish you to lead an effective life where every day is a step to your next goal and every year at least 5 of your small dreams came true.

Also I want to wish you to get warm and sweet words from people around you at least several times a week and to remember those people who stayed in your past. They taught you something and every person on our life way isn't just a person but a teacher who can teach you something useful.

I wish you to blossom like a flower and not to close yourself but to open like a beautiful rose.

And I know that all those things I wrote before are hard to realize so I wish you strengths and will to succeed in it.

Have a great evening, BeeBee

WHY DO YOU NEED COURAGE?

Good evening, everyone.

This is my blog #50. A small anniversary for me and my fingers. So I want to dedicate it to one question - "Why do you need courage"?

Before we find the best answer on this question let's ask additional questions:

- Do you need courage to fight for your freedom?

- Do you need courage to survive in a modern society?

- Do you need courage to have arguments about your salary with your boss?

- Do you need courage to wear a mini - skirt?

- Do you need courage to upload your photo in EC?

I guess for the most questions you will answer "yes".

We need courage to defend our Motherland against terrorists and criminals. We need courage to defend our kids when they have problems at school. We need courage if we want to ask our boss to increase our salary or we need to pass through exams or an interview with HR-manager.

We need courage if we want to sit on diet from Monday or decided to go swimming in mini-bikini while our body isn't ideal.

We need courage to go traveling alone to dangerous or unknown countries and to do things we never done before.

We need courage to be a unique person.

But the answer that came up to my mind is a bit different. I think that we need courage for sincerity.

...Sometimes to tell what you really think about it or what you really need...

...Sometimes to tell that you hate his mama and you want to live in India...

...Sometimes to tell that actually you aren't satisfied with life together and you want to change it...

...Sometimes to tell your colleagues that next time you'll throw something into them if they don't stop spread rumors....

....Sometimes to tell other people that you have right to have different feelings and thoughts and they have right for being real for you in your own reality....

"Courage for sincerity" is what we already started losing with a wide spread of technology. We are stuck in the swamp of social actions and words that are directed into a place called "Everyone likes me".

We still have courage for freedom and traveling, but why have we started losing courage for sincerity?

Cheers, cap Bee

ALPINISTS OF LIFE

Good day, everyone.

Yesterday I watched the new movie "Everest" and it made me think about many things. That's why I decided to give them a written form in order to see them clear and find the right way.

Don't you think that our life  can be compared with the walk in the labyrinth? Some people can find the way out and some are lost there till their physical death? While walking in these mind labyrinths, we find many clues but sometimes we are lazy to read them and think over or we just don't know how to read and how to understand them.

Humanity knows so many things, reaches its progress in many fields and has an enormous encyclopedia of life wisdom but we are still lost in our own labyrinths of mind. Why so?

Yesterday after the movie I got some pictures from my friend and I want to share one quote I read there:

A person who wants to move a mountain should take stones one by one and move them.

If you can find the way out from your mind labyrinth, you'll see a mountain.

In this case, a mountain can be our desires and wishes, our likes and dreams, our life expectations and goals. Some mountains are as high as Everest, others are too small, others can be called "hills". We all build our own mountains, then we look at it and we are a bit scared to climb it up if it's too high. But we can't realize that this mountain is what we created from our expectations.

Some people decide to sit near this mountain and enjoy its beauty:

Life goes on and people continue sitting near this mountain. Life ends and people understand that they only dreamt and enjoyed viewing their dreams but didn't taste them.

Other people prefer to be brave and active and they take their bag packs and try to conquer the top of the mountain:

It's hard, it's difficult and sometimes you think that you're gonna die right here and right now but you can't reach the top of your mountain. You can't reach some of your dreams, you can't get what you want, and you're ready to turn back and go down the mountain and continue viewing it from some distance.

I guess the most important thing for every human is to get all forces and bravery together and go up. This Life Mountain is the goal of every person and the main thing we need to do is to reach the balance between our expectation and real results. And the balance is on the top of this mountain.

What comes next after you reached the top? To my mind, you need to go down, create a new mountain and conquer it again. Otherwise, you'll stay and sleep on your mountain forever.

Where are you on this mountain? Near it? Enjoying viewing it? Going to the top? On the top? Where?

Best wishes,

alpinist Bee

Hi, everyone.

I guess that you have the same so called "racial experience" in EC when we see different people from different countries. We must admit that all of us represent their Motherlands here and we judge the countries by the people who represent it. Don't you agree with me?

Even if we proclaim that people are different and there are good and bad people in every nation we still have this ancient prejudice that, for example, all jews are greedy, all muslims are terrorists, georgians are obsessed with women and all russians are alcoholics (no offends).

These are so called "social stereotypes" about different races and nationalities that cover our planet like a spider covers a fly with its net. And I must admit that I have the same stereotypes that I try to destroy but they raise and raise again like a phoenix from the fire.

I also want to present you a short movie created by Nancy Spetsioti. Watch it, please.

I guess that we all can think that we are better or superior than all people around us and it doesn't matter if we have the fundamental background for this or not. But when health or other problems come to your family, you can get help even from those people who were despised by us for any reason.

This long-lasting fight inside your head will last forever and it will never end. But what we can do, we can realize, feel and catch all those silly stereotypes inside us and bring them into light. And after it we should examine, prosect and destroy them.

Maybe these operations made by all of us will help to change the destination of the highway called "The human history".

Thanks for reading and watching this awesome short movie. Have a nice evening.

THE LOST SOULS

Hi, everyone.

I wonder why I decided to start writing this blog about a contradictory topic as "Death and what happens next". I guess it happened after watching this awesome philosophical cartoon by Alan Holly.

Watch it first, please (by the way, it's in English so you can improve your listening skills as well).

So what happens to the soul when the body dies? Have you ever thought about it? I suppose that the director of this cartoon suggested us the way the lost souls on this planet find their way "home". But before you get "home" you need to pass a difficult way of remembering all your life events and accidents and deeds.

I guess only at that time the soul starts thinking about all pluses and minuses of the deeds it made in its human life. And it realizes that it's too late to change something and the future "home" won't bee so cosy and comfortable as it wanted to be.

Why don't people think in reality about their deeds and actions while they are still alive? Why the human nature prefer to postpone everything to the last moment when it's too late to change anything?

The question of the "after-death way" excites the minds of all people but only few of them are ready to ask it loudly in front of society.

Humanity is afraid of death as an event in each life. It's a logic end of our physical life but maybe it's the  beginning of a new life without sick bodies? When I was thinking about it, I found a new quote that is  partly similar to my thoughts:

What do you think about it?

Best regards, bee-bee-lost

Good morning :D

I guess it will be my shortest blog :D

Nowadays I have my life that looks like Niagara falls under control so it's natural that I feel exhausted or even sad and depressed sometimes. Anyway :) As a true choleric, I can't be sad more that 2 days so I was reading my Facebook and found a perfect quote that blows your positive thinking and turns your thoughts to another way.

And the quote was very very simple. Just read it:

"If life gave you salt, find another person who got lemons. Then find another one who has a bottle of tequila and have a nice evening" :))))))

You know recently I have a conversation here about life sense and death questions. I saw many opinions and I don't like when people say that they have problem.s Personally I don't have problems. I have situations that should be solved one by one.

I have my salt now, so I'm looking for the lemons and tequila and let's have a party.

Hope this small humorous advice can change your way of thinking and perception of life situations :D

Best regards, tequila-bee

Good afternoon, everyone.

I decided to write this blog after many observations I made while reading the main chat and other resources but before it I'd like you to watch this video (if you haven't watched it yet):

  • Think: Did you have a wish to change yourself in order to be accepted by almost all people in a real or cyber society?
  • Remember: Did you have a wish to look like a pop star or another hero?
  • Count: Did  you have thoughts that if only you were slimmer or prettier, your life would change to a better way than it is now?
  • Feel: Have you ever had a thought that this person is handsome and that one should put his\her photo on the fridge in order not to open it because of scary shock?

Now I feel that my thoughts are like beads of the broken necklace but I'll try to repair it.

I respect and admire those people who are real in their intentions, thoughts and actions here. If to be honest, I like watching profiles with photos in order to see whom I'm chatting to)) Sometimes I'm upset when I see dogs and flowers but it's up to everyone to  make his/her choice whether to upload a photo or not.

Admit that sometimes we have thoughts like:

  • hide yourself and don't scare me
  • wow, I even lost my dinner
  • and this one is nice, I need to get closer
  • what a bad person
  • heh, handsome boy
  • cutie
  • he\she is an interesting person
  • what a hot girl
  • nothing special
  • what a stupid guy
  • gosh, did you watch yourself in the mirror?
  • seems God doesn't love you if you have such a face\body
  • too arrogant or dumb you are, I haven't made my choice yet and etc.

In most cases if there is a choice between positive thinking and criticizing, we choose criticizing though it leads to non-effective results. We start giving our recommendations, labels, advice though no one asked about it.

I'm a fast reader and every day I need to read a huge amount of information due to my work but I always have a question why do these people around me tell me what to do, where to go, how to look like? Or if I have some extra-kilos on my hips I become automatically not pretty, for example? Or if I have a specific body, it means that my life is over and I will never marry? (something like that) Many thoughts appear in my head and I understand that the whole humanity is under these labels and stereotypes - about successful life, about beauty, about life goals and so on.

Why did I upload that video you have already watched in the beginning of this blog? I was impressed by this brave girl who showed her problem to publicity, got her portion of negativity but still she's alive :) She's trying to accept herself and she tries to lead this life how she wants even after those disgusting words. She has her own youtube channel where she tries to help less confident people who have the same skin problems to become beautiful.

I want to ask you - Do you accept yourself with your physical and mental appearance? How do you proclaim it to the world? Are you ready to defend your own identity and keep being an original, not a copy?

To my mind, we should open ourself as a treasure chest full of magic stones and jewelry. Maybe you'll find some cockroaches there, maybe old shoes, but still you need to open it :)  And face it. And change it if you don't like something. But not because another person told you that something is wrong with you.

If I share my experience, I've been told many things as I'm internet user for many years. My favorite one is that even I'm 32 years old, I should feel myself an expired peach that should be destroyed:D:D:D Anyway I definitely know my way and what I want from this life and I move in that direction and nothing will stop me.

So many people, so many realities are. Let's try to observe them but let's avoid putting our own map on another's globe :)

How do you keep your originality and how do you fight if you feel that you're turning into a copy? What do you do?

Cheers, puzzled bee...

Hi, guys!

Did you know that the 3rd of August is the national non-official day of the watermelon

Also you must know that a watermelon isn't a fruit or a vegetable. It's a big berry!

At first this party took place in the USA but nowadays it's conquering the world day by day.

WATERMELON HISTORY

Watermelons came from South Africa where you can still find the wild watermelons in the local jungles. This wild watermelon is considered to be the relative of the well-known watermelon. But the DNA-analysis showed that these wild and typical watermelons are both connected to the ancient herb called "Citrullus ecirrhosus" that grows in the Kalkhari desert.

Ancient Egyptians knew about watermelons and cultivated them on their lands. The watermelon seeds were found in the pyramids that can be considered an evidence. People thought that in another world the great Pharaoh will eat watermelons. Also this tasty berry was mentioned in old papyruses.

The watermelon was known to the old Rome people if you read the verses by Vergilius. People usually ate fresh or salty watermelons as well as they prepared watermelon honey. By the 10th century the Chinese had already known the watermelon and called it "The melon of the west". Every September they made a watermelon party.

Watermelons were taken to Europe after the famous Crusades. As for Russia, ancient tatars brought watermelons on that land.

SOME FUNNY WATERMELON EXPRESSIONS, PROVERBS AND IDIOMS

Now here what I liked about watermelons:

  • "Marriage is an uncut watermelon" :)
  • "Putting watermelons under someone's arm"
  • "Don't pick up two watermelons with one hand"
  • "If you pick up a sesame seed, you may drop a watermelon"

SO HAPPY WATERMELON DAY, GUYS!

By the way:

  • Do you have any special watermelon recipes? If yes, please, share here!:)

Best regards, gardener Bee :)

LEGO LIFE

Hi, everyone.

Once I was chatting with a nice user here and I found a very nice thought. We had many discussions about life here and many images were used to describe the inner and outer processes.

But today I want you to imagine next thing.

When you were born, you got your lego-blocks called "life" and it's up to you what you want to build from it - a yellow duck or a pirate ship or a romantic castle.

Some people start building having their inspiration and nature interest. Other people open google and try to find some schemes in order to build a simple house from it.

So what I want to ask you is: what did you build from this life-lego blocks?

If you can express it with the right image, it would be great to see the picture of your inspiration:))

As for me, when I got my blocks, at first I built this:

After some life events and life experience, my current life-lego blocks turned into this:

I decided to build this because I truly believe that 3 kilometers of the road lead nowhere but 3 kilometers of the takeoff strip lead to the world.

So how about you?

Best regards, captain Bee

Hi again, everyone.

Today I'm gonna open you a famous mountain district called "Kazbegi" that is situated on the north of Georgia. The total distance from surface to Kazbegi + Gergeti Church is around 3 500 m (as the driver told me). Just imagine how high you sit and observe this planet :)))

As usual, all photos are taken by me (and movie is made by me) but I decided to make a short photo-movie in order to make it bright and interesting. Watch it first and love Caucasian mountains as I love them very much! (by the way, you can see a part of me there)))))

You know, it was my deep dream to go to Kazbegi but I was a bit afraid of it (I mean to go there alone). I didn't have any company but finally I got there and I don't regret about it. So, let's begin!

HOW TO GET TO KAZBEGI

You need to go to Tbilisi and then go to Didube bus station. There you'll find a lot of public taxi cars (called "marshrutka"). Don't forget to ask the drivers where the Kazbegi car is. The price of the ticket was 10 lari (around 5$).

Your way will pass through Georgian military road - the most beautiful road of Georgia. On the left and on the right you'll see the endless mountains, hills, small villages and you will go higher, and higher, deep to the Caucasian heart.

By the way, as I wrote, Georgian drivers are very...emotional and fast, the roads aren't good and the speed is very high. So take your pills and get the portion of adrenaline on Georgian roads! :-)

After 2,5 hours you arrive to Kazbegi. If you need to exchange money, you can do it here but I wouldn't recommend that (the rate is lower than in Tbilisi).

WHAT TO DO IN KAZBEGI

1) enjoy the splendid mountains around you

2) visit Georgian restaurants near the bus stop

3) take a car and go to Gergeti church on the top of the mountain (see on the photo)

4) go inside the church and buy candles for the saints

5) make photos of the mountains from the Gergeti top (as I did)

6) make a photo of Kazbek's top (the highest mountain in this region)

7) sit on the edge of the rock and think about the life (you'll feel that time has stopped in this region)

PRICES

food - almost the same as in Tbilisi

car to the top of the mountain - 80 lari (around 40$) both sides (but you can wait for 8 persons, take one car and share this money among all people)

MY IMPRESSION

I can say that I'm in love now. Caucasian mountains stole my heart and sympathy till my death. I felt so good on that top and so peaceful when I visited the church. Next year I'll make a mountain tour around Georgia and Armenia and will get my drug full doze (yes, mountains are my drugs).

I hope that each of you can enjoy this place as I did it. I'll remember this journey till the end of my life.

The Earth and the Creator are perfect.

Best wishes, Honeyashvili bee

Hello, guys!)

I'm currently in Georgia traveling around beautiful places so I'm gonna share with you useful tips and my impressions that can help you if you go there! (as usual, all photos are taken by me. I made a movie for you. You can watch it in the end of this blog).

So my first stop in Georgia was Tbilisi - the capital city and a very interesting place.

I arrived to the National airport where you can get to the city by train, bus #37 (I wouldn't recommend) and taxi (I preferred). Need to say that taxi is very cheap in Tbilisi so I used it (one trip in the city zone is around 2-3$).

TRANSPORT IN TBILISI

I'd recommend all people to use taxi. Most of people here can understand and speak English, Russian and Georgian. If you're lost, people will help you. mention that all bus stops and metro stations don't have English letters (only Georgian) so you can't read where you are :)))) Also the public buses are so small that you'll die there inside when it is summer. Around the country you can use trains (not so wide-spread, only to some cities) and "marshrutka" (small mini - bus for 12-16 people).

There are several bus stations in Tbilisi (Didube, Samgori) and one railway station. Use taxi to get there and you'll understand why!

Also be careful on the streets! Georgian drivers are too active and traffic lights mean nothing to them. If you want to cross the road, check if there are no cars there and only then go.

If you take a taxi, be ready that if you speak English you'll pay more than a simple Georgian :D:D I spoke Russian so I could reduce the price because usually if the trip costed 4 lari in reality, I was told about 10-16.

WHERE TO LIVE

As I wrote before, I use "Booking.com" for booking my hotels. I booked "Hotel Orien Royal" in Tbilisi and can recommend it to anyone (24 euros per night). It is situated not far from centre (Rustaveli avenue) and in 10 minutes on foot you're in the centre of the city.

MONEY EXCHANGE

You can change your euros and dollars in special small shops (you'll see them everywhere) without any problems. The national currency is LARI (1 euro - 2, 48 lari).

PRICES

Tbilisi isn't an expensive city. You can eat in cafe every day and you won't spend so much money if you go Barcelona, for example. The typical prices were:

coffee - 4-5 lari

ice-cream - 1-1,5 lari

water - 0,6 lari per litre

shashlyk (roasted meat, national dish) - 7-10 lari

wine (bottle) - from 13 to 25 lari

khachapuri (national dish) - from 4 to 12 lari (depends on size)

taxi - around 5 lari if the distance in 5-7 km

NATIONAL CUISINE

Oh, here i can write endless words of glory to Georgian cuisine. Try all meat dishes, wine and ...and..everything! Everything is delicious, tasty and worth eating. Need to say that Georgian food is mostly meat cuisine but there are also vegetarian dishes. Wine is a special drink here so try all sorts of it.

WHERE TO GO IN TBILISI

Tbilisi is a wonderful city for walking on foot. Visit Rustaveli avenue, go to the Bridge of Peace and use funiculars to go to Mtazminda mountain and see all Tbilisi as it is on your hand. Evenings are crowd here and many people sit in restaurants and cafes. You can hear street music and other activities. As for me, I prefer to walk on my 2 feet around the city and find interesting places by myself (see the photo movie).

CRIMINALS

As usual, be careful with your bags and wallets. There are gypsy people on the streets and they like to beg for money. I'd suggest to refuse them in polite way. Otherwise you'll spend all your money on it. Evenings were save and you can walk around the city till the deep midnight. There are many policemen on the street so don't be afraid of anyone! Girls, avoid street men, they like foreign women and be careful :)

MY IMPRESSIONS

Tbilisi is a great historical city. You won't find new York landscapes here but you will find warm atmosphere and tasty food and nice impressions from the city. I loved this city and people in it. I loved all streets and ancient churches. I loved Georgian food and Georgian people who are always ready to help you and they like to have a simple talk with you :)

And here is my movie with photos from Tbilisi for you:

Best regards, Honey Beebeeashvili :)

Hi, travelers and those who have the intention to do it.

Summer has come and it means that the vacation time is going to its top. I decided to make a small vacation rehearsal on the past weekend and I went to Bremen. So lemme tell you about this short trip and share my photos of this city. I guess some details will be useful for those who is going there in the nearest future.

So, let's begin our story (as usual, all photos are taken by me).

As usual, I went to Vilnius (Lithuania) to spend one day there because my flight is from Vilnius to Bremen. I love Ryanair so I bought tickets "Vilnius-Bremen-Vilnius" in February (and I went there only in June) and the price was around 30 euros (2 ways). That's the main feature of the low cost flights - the earlier you book, the cheaper you get. Remember that.

By the way, even it's not the first time in Lithuania, I found a secret place in Vilnius where I could drink a nice cup of coffee and enjoy the background of the city. Have a look!

NB: not all photos are in this first post. See my other photos in the next posts here.

The next day I went to Vilnius airport and flew to Bremen. The weather was great! It was hot and sunny! If you fly to Bremen's airport and you need to get to the city centre (Central Railway station), you need to get the tram #6 that isn't so far from the airport (around 100-200 metres). After 10 minutes, you're in the centre of Bremen. Mind that you need to pay for the public transport 2,60 euros and there's a special machine inside the tram where you put your money and get your ticket. If you don't know how to use it even with English menu, ask someone's for the help. People will surely do it!

So, here is our Central Railway Station!

There you will see many cafes and places where you can eat and drink and have a rest or move further around Germany.

But I went to my hotel and there - to women's paradise (I meant shopping). There's a nice shopping centre called "Waterfront Bremen" where you will find many stores and nice shops. I spent a lot of time there and got all what I needed for my big summer vacation that is coming soon!

(this photo is not mine) Here is this centre.

Mind the hotels are expensive in Germany in most cases. I use Booking.com for my bookings and the lowest price for hotels in Bremen is around 50-60 euros per night. I had an accident there)) even if it's written that you have WIFI in your room, it doesn't meant that it is so or it's for free :) So bee careful with this!)

The next day I spent wandering around the city. I visited 2 parks and the Old city. And of course the main place of Bremen - the monument of Bremen musicians. Check out these photos (now they are mine))) :

Nelson Mandela's park, Bremen

River Weser, Bremen

In general, Bremen is a small city full of different nationalities and I guess it's not so save in the evenings as I saw weird drunk guys. I guess the longest period of time you can spend there is 3-4 days. It's too small and you can do sightseeing in several days.

Save journeys.

Best regards, HB.
