Dear readers,I found a question from this lovely forum ( How do you spend your spare time ?)Friends, "spare time is the most important time that will be waited by every body, isn't it ?For me my self, this is a very nice time because in this time I can do every thing that make me fresh again after working a whole week. So I don't want to loose my spare time. One of the way is, I go to my hut in my tea garden area to spend my spare time with my beloved husband. It's located about 20 kilo meters from my house. The condition of my area is very fresh, so cold. In the hut I can do some relax activities such as: cooking a nice food, reading the funniest stories, talking so much with the gardeners nearby, and also I do planting vegetables, and also help them to do harvest. such as potatoes, chili and egg plan and others oh... it's very enjoyable for me. Here I see you my hut and the fresh area. If you want to visit, I will welcome you. Oh.... it's very fantastic. I think. Batang Kapas ( Cotton tree ) is one of the name of village in West Sumatra. This name is derived from The cotton trees which are found in this area, So the old people gave the village with the trees ' names. My story started from this story. The readers please enjoy it.Learning English is very interested, because it has a lot of techniques and regulations. Some times the learners found some difficulties in learning and it's difficult in pronouncing the words in good way. One day as new English teacher I tried to explain the material carefully.Before talking the material I introduced every thing about my self like name, age hobby, family and history of my jobs, and so forth by smoothness as possible. After that of course I asked for the students to do the same ways in order to make closer each other. To avoid bored I used some kinds of ways, such as: called one of the names and I asked for them to introduce her / him self. next I asked them to explain about her/ him self directly and the last one I asked some questions to her or him as follow :Me ( as the teacher ) : What's your name boy ?The student : I'm David Mooray Mom, You can call me David in short.Me : Oh David, Where were you born ?David : On Batang Kapas MomMe : Where dear ? ( a little bit confused)David : On Batang Kapas Mom ( He reviewed confidently)Me : On Batang Kapas or in Batang Kapas ? ( invited him to change his word )David : On Batang Kapas Mom ( he replied )Me : So, before you were born, Your mother climbed up the cotton tree ?The Class : Gerrrrr...... ( laughed )David : Of course not Mom, I was born at the hospiltalMe : So, please be careful in using preposition in your English like :On, in.under etc. When you want to say the area or place like Batang Kapas we use " in " not "on", O.K ?The class : All right Mom .The story is very funny, isn't it ?

To day all moslems around the world do a worship that is called "fasting"We fell enjoy to do, because we can get some benefits such as : a good value from God, can control our stomach problem, make good healthy, and have a good social feeling. By do fasting we try not to eat any thing from early morning until in the evening.In breaking our fasting, we are suggested to eat a little bit sweet food or fruit. After do evening praying ( Maghrib in Arabic) we enjoy the dinner. Wow... it's very nice condition while joking we enjoy our break fast. In Our region after break fast we go the mosque in do praying together , and listen the religion speech. The speech has an interesting purpose like how to do a good fasting and what we can get from that, and develop our knowledge about religion problems. For the students, they take a note what they listen and the conclusion of the speech. After that the people continue their activity by reading the holy Qura'n ( the holy book for Moslems) They read by nice rhythm in turn. How nice sound it is.Might be some of them will go to bed late. it means some people will have a little chance to take a rest, because around 4.00 a.m they will get up to have "sahur" the meal eaten before the daybreak during fasting month. It last until about 5.00 a.m. They stopped and they do their activities without eating and drink. One the interesting from this activity, we will see many women sell some thing for break fasting in the afternoon a long street venders. There are a lot of kinds of food and drink. They will make us buy all of them. This activity will last 30 days. I think, it's very interesting, isn't it ?

Fasting is one of a holy activity by Moslems in a full month that is called Ramadhan.In this month the people around the world try to do the good things while without eating and drinking from early morning until in the evening ( The sun sets on west ) All moslem do this to get reward from the almighty Allah. They do and welcome fasting month by happily, and want this activity can do all time because fasting is the best activity in getting reward from the creater of nature beside Praying and other activities. In doing fasting the people try to collect their good activities that they have done in a month such as do together praying in the mosque in the evening, and also reading holy alqur'an after they beak their fasting. all mousques in all areas are full by people who do some activities. They are sure Allah will give them points ( reward ), until they celebrate the winning day which is called Idul Fitri. On that day They fell as a holy human being like a baby without sin in him or her self.
