A Strange Experience

Have you ever experienced something strange, irrational and unreasonable? I have once.

At that time I was on my motorcycle on the way home from my campus. When I almost reached my home, when I turned left, on the street corner, passed another motorcycle from the opposite direction with two guys on it. Right in that moment I felt a stone was thrown hard and hit my right waist.

"F**kk!!!" It was so painful that I almost put a dirty word out of my mouth to curse them. I thought one of them did throw me (with that stone). I put my left hand on my right waist while my right one kept my motorcycle running. And guess what? There was a fist-sized stone behind my shirt!!! Well, actually I don't know whether it was a stone or not since I didn't see it, I just held it from outside my shirt, but it was as hard as one and much bigger than an egg.

I held and rolled that "stone" with my left hand to my right waist while wondering. I was wearing blue jeans and long sleeve shirt and I inserted the bottom part of my shirt into my blue jeans. How could a stone be there? The only entryway for that "stone" to enter was through the collar. But it didn't hit my neck, it directly hit my right waist and then was suddenly behind my shirt miraculously.

I kept holding it for some seconds and was eager to find out what that thing exactly was. Then I took my left hand off it and put it back to the handlebar of my motorcycle so that I could park it (I couldn't do it only with one hand). But after I'd parked my motorcycle, something miraculous happened again. The "stone" disappeared!!! I searched it thoroughly with two hands. I groped around my waist, from front to the back, but I didn't find it. It was gone. Strange, isn't it?

When I told this incident to my friends, some of them said that it could be kinda black magic intended to harm me but, luckily, I was strong enough so I saved from it. :P (You must understand that people in my country still believe in such things: black magic, white magic, enchantment, spell, witchcraft... etc.) Did I believe it? No. But they were right in one thing: I wasn't sick or got hurt after that incident. My life went on normally in the next days and long after that. I just felt pain only that time, when the "stone" hit me.

And til now, I still haven't got a clear view and understanding of what it was all about.

Water Sprinkled Face

I was enjoying the music when suddenly I felt some water sprinkled on my face. "Rain inside the house?" I wondered. In fact, my mom had sprinkled some water to my face because she had been talking with me but I didn't give any response at all. "Sorry, mom. I was wearing headset. Don't you see?"

Delayed Urinate

One day I went to a mountain with my bother, sister in law, niece, mom and grandma. There were strawberries sellers who allowed people to pick them directly from the trees and my niece wanted to do it. So she came out of the car with her father and mother whilst I, my mom and grandma were in the car parked on the roadside.

Shortly afterwards, a car came from backside and took place in front of ours. A young guy came out and walked hurriedly toward our car while his hands trying to open his pants zippers. It was obvious that he wanted to urinate beside our car and didn't realize that we were inside. Surely that was laughable and made us panic at the same time.

"Oh, no." said my mother repeatedly with panic. She was sitting in the front. You can understand how she felt. I laughed so hard that he heard it. As soon as he heard my laughter, he turned back and cancelled what he was going to do. Lol.

Missing Remote Control

One day I listened to music from my CD in my bedroom. I sat on my bed enjoying the beautiful songs. When I wanted to change the song, I saw that the remote control was dusty. So I took a tissue paper out of a tissue box next to my bed to clean it. But, surprisingly, the remote control disappeared. I searched it under the pillows, under the blanket, under my butts, but I didn't find it. I was very puzzled. "Where is it?" I asked to myself. "I just held it few seconds ago but now it's gone."

Finally I found it. Do you know where it was? In my hand! Lol!

Wrong Text Message

It happened two years ago. One day, my niece who was just still in 3rd grade of elementary school found her lips bleeding because she just hit the wall. Then she borrowed her mother's cell phone to report it to her father. "Pa," she wrote, "My lips hit the wall and they are bleeding. It hurts." But she didn't understand when she read his father's reply. It was written: "It would have been great and tasty if you'd hit them to mine instead of the wall. Don't you think?" Lol!

Writing

I'm impressed by the spirit and passion of the EC members in posting discussions topics and blogs. But, unfortunately, many of them ignore (perhaps unintentionally) kinds of rule in writing such as capitalization in the tittle, name of a person, place, the use of punctuation marks and so on. Some of them even think that the usage of the colors is more important than the correctness on how a text or writing should be presented. I'm not sure what the reasons behind it. Maybe they don't know about those rules or maybe they think that those things are not as important as the content of the text. But, in my opinion, if we really want to make a good writing, we should pay attention to these things. We shouldn't ignore them. We have to get accustomed to obeying the rules of writing. It will be easier for people to understand, too.

I hope it will be a concern for all of us. Thank you.
