Following idioms are within Persian equivalents as I myself guessed then if u can come up with another one, plz share it with us! At least u can trust on the meanings coz they're from dictionary...as I said how I learn them.

His endeavors went up in smoke = Come to nothing (from the literal sense of "be destroyed by fire" = Talaashesh dood shod raft havaa

No smoke without fire = There's always some reason for a rumour = Dood az konde boland mishe or taa nabaashad chizaki... (I'm not so sure for this one)

Ur goose is cooked = If ur goose if cooked u have no chance of succeeding in what u're trying to do = Gaavet zaaydeh! Hhhhhhhhhhhhahaha...I think this is it!

Grease sb's palm = bribe sb = Sibile kasira charb kardan (They grease the palm, we do with mustache!!!!!! I really like these kinda issues)

Once for all = now and for the last time = Yek baar baraaye hamishe

Sit on one's hands = Take no action = dast rooye dast gozaashtan

Horses for courses = Different ppl  are suited to different things or situations = Harkasira bahre kaari saakhtan (I'm not sure)

Oil and water = two ppl that do not agree or blend together = Kaardo panir

He'll snap out of that = stop expriencing sth = az saresh miyofte
