  • Solution:

    Let  y= f(x)

    y =√{1-√(x-1)} ≥0

    Then we have:

    y^2  =1-√(x-1)

    (y^2)-1 = -√(x-1)

    (y^2)-1 ≤ 0

    Then:

    y≥0      &     (y^2)-1 ≤ 0

    And the answer is [0,1]

    • Yes!!

      Well done!

      You are very clever.

      Always trust on yourself, please.

      They aren't hard questions, Sue, but you are answering all of them right.

      Very good.

    • It means all of the ,1-√(x-1), are under the Radical.
