Dear Friends,We are all here in MyEC because of different motivation. Others may say to have international friends, to know about different cultures, or just a past time..Others also regard it as a tool to be better in English writing and because it needed to their job and studies..But the bottom line is, we are here to be fluent in English, isn't? So why don't we share our personal routine and ways of learning English..So here I am my friends. I'd like to share my ways of learning English..These are:1. I have a desire to learn it-- In everything I do, to succeed in something, I believe having a desire is the most essential. This should be properly cultivated from simple desire to learn English into eventually become my burning desire and as time passes, I've learned to be passionate about it.2. Have a timetable-- I write my goal in a piece of paper exactly as this : Goal- to be fluent in Spoken English by December 2010..I know this time I'd set is very near but this gives me some direction in my learning as I motivate myself that I have to achieve it by that time..Hence, forcing myself to find ways on how to achieve it..This year goal included:a. to be able to speak confidentlyb. to be able to speak without pause( as thinking the next words)c. to improve my comprehension in listening and in readingd. to enrich my vocabularies2010---To be fluent in spoken English2011---To increased my level lower intermediate to higher intermediate2012---Make myself as Advanced learner2013---Mastering English in it's all aspect-speaking, writing, reading, listening3. Be organize in your ways..At first I experimented on my ways in learning English but as I heartily search for it..I now know what to do..I identified major questions vital to achieving my goal and then time to time I adjust my schedule routine to give each enough attention. Why? Why I learn English and what really motivates me to achieve fluency.---Because in my desire job it requires fluency and of course I don't want again to be a "laughing stock" in school just because I can't pronounce the word correctly or I can't speak even one good grammatical correct sentence..Thus, these are my motivation..I identified them and constantly remind myself about them. How and When Spend my learning time:50% in speaking and listening (skype, listening to online English course)25% in writing (chatting, e-mails, blogging, commenting)25% in reading ( blogs, group discussion, comments, grammar books)What? Learning materials/ tools that really interest me:--MyEC--Effortlessenglish audio lessons--Freeenglishnow.com--Skype--Emails4. Find a Learning partner--as I grow here in MyEC I found many friends, some I constantly communicated with, others just occasionally..But what I've really glad about is that I have found not only a learning partner but a true friend here in EC..So learning English for me is really easy now because this friendship with them renew and refresh my motivation each day. Needless to say, learning English become an easy and happy task for me because of them. So, my friends how about sharing your personal ways to learn English?
