Les Miserables

On weekend, I watched "Les Miserables" - the beloved global sensation. It made my get 4th experience to the story. I had read the story by novel in my youth ages. One day in my 20s, I encountered the story by the movie named "20th century les miserables". Then I had the chance to enjoy the awesome story again in the DVD title. It was recorded to celebrate the 10th anniversary of it musical version in the Royal Albert Hall in London. The actors in currently showing movie were simple wonderful but, I prefer the songs performed by the actors in the DVD. They were Colm Wilkinson, Philip Quast, Ruthie Henshall, Jenny Galloway, etc. One thing that is better for me is that it can touch you more by appreciating DVD after watching the current showing movie. I strongly recommend you to see the movie and  then see the musical, again !!!

  • Hi all, yes I have also watched this movie last few weeks. I was impressed at the beginning of the movie but I can't say I like the whole movie so much. I couldn't stand the fact that they sing throughout the movie. I agree with Ching and I don't think Russle Crowe is a good singer. When Anne Hathaway sang a song about I dreamed a dream it reminded me of Susan Boyle sang that song in American Idol :-) that's the only interesting part for me.
