With we moving on to the era of technology, one major tragedy is lacking concern for our own health.... yup, believe me or not, we are least concerned about our diet for we have prioritized other things over it.

With we becoming more and more dependent on machines, our sedentary life style has added more insult to our dietary habits, we being more interested in artificial foods rather than natural ones. Fruits/vegetables should be, rather must be a part of our daily diet because no matter how delicious and energy-rich our, so called healthy food may be, there is no alternative to the perfect proportion of minerals and vitamins that nature has put together in fruits/vegetables.

Here are a few logical attractions that will help you in adding fruits/vegetables to your diets.

Vitamin A deficiency is the cause of night blindness. When thinking of vitamin A, first thing that come to mind is "Carrots", yup rich in vitamin A.  Wondering why rabbits have a sharp vision? :D  In fact a sliced carrot resembles human eye and they helps you in your vision.

Walnuts help in improving your memory; you must have heard this from your grandparents, in fact they do increase the signaling of brain neurons and also help in warding off dementia. Walnut, looks like a little brain, doesn't it? it's  wrinkles and folds almost resemble the sulci and gyri of human brain. The tough shell outside is like a human vertex.

Tomatoes have been scientifically proved to be helpful  for your heart and blood cells. Slice a tomato and be amazed to find out that it has four chambers just like your heart, the red colour of both ain't a coincidence either.

Avocados, can you guess with which body part do they resemble...... yes you are right, they resemble Uterus (womb). Avocados are very helpful is balancing the female reproductive hormones and have shown to be beneficial in preventing cervical and uterine cancers.

Grapes help you reduce the risk of lung cancer and emphysema and their seeds reduce the severity of asthma triggered by allergens. Guess what, grapes resemble your alveoli of lungs.

Sweet potatoes improve your glycemic control and their antioxidant property helps against aging and cancer. Glycemic control is the function of pancreas and sweet potatoes resemble pancreas.

Oranges and other citrus fruits help in developing a female breast. The inner structure of Oranges and mammary glands is pretty much the same.

Do you think all these resemblances are a mere coincidence? The answer would be "NO", nature has made these fruits/vegetables to help you with your health. Don't defy nature, make fruits a part of your daily diet.

So are fruits/vegetables a routine part of your daily diet or are you also among the so called fast-food and meat lovers?

Note: I have deliberately not mentioned some of the other fruits/vegetables  that resemble human body parts and their usefulness. You can have a guess of those in the comments section below but for God sake don't mention a 'banana' :P

We try to consume fruit and vegetables on a daily basis and everybody should be aware of the fact that if we want to have a balanced life both physically and mentally we should have a balanced diet based upon nutritious food rich in vitamins.
We are what we eat and no need to turn our body into a trash bin..What is scary is people consider fast or junk food is easy to get without thinking that it will not end in an easy struggle to get rid of the fatal effects they cause.
Thanks for sharing such helpful knowledge full of health :)

Good work Nomi, it's a very useful and reasonable writing, how could I question it from a doctor? That's why I always wanted to have a doctor as a friend :)

I love fruit, vegetables and of course the natural healthy cuisine but sometimes I neglect this good habits because of lack of time or other issues, I admit sometimes I go to processed food for this reason.

Btw, you spoiled my joke with bananas! ...because it's only an old joke, no? :D

A great work up there ya Nomi  . People  are like turtles  they can't walk  and  loaded with fats  in different  part of their bodies . New generation  aren't used to healthy  habits  . However  , what more worse than having  junk food  , is consuming contaminated  fruits  and vegetables  due to the new agricultural  methods that is spoiling the soil with fertilizers  and playing with the genetic  form of food . It is hard to find pure organic  things these  days.  Thanks for ur great analogy up their and all of ur hygienice  tips :)
