Proper Nouns

Example:Don't forget that Nida and Zahra are proper nouns. They are important people and they deserve capital letters! Their countries (Pakistan and Iran) are proper nouns too. It is also important to give a title, such as Anne of Green Gables, capital letters. The little words like of and or and a don't need to be capitalized in a title.Learn more about proper nouns here.

  • I'm Italian and my name is Vincenzo.
I live in a small town: Capodrise.
My town is not well known, even in Italy, but it is located 5 km from Caserta.
Caserta instead is very know by The Royal Palace.
The Royal Palace of Caserta was built by Charles III of Bourbon.
The new palace was to be the new state symbol and expression of Bourbon power and grandeur.
The Bourbons, who occupied southern Italy came from Spain.
The Bourbon rule in Italy lasted more than 100 years, and was named the Kingdom of Two Sicilies.
There is a saying that says: “Remember, all good things do not last more than one hundred years”
The Bourbons reigned in Italy from 1734 to 1861.
What's happened then? Was the saying debunked?
  • Karenina is little busy now. That's why she decided to leave My English Club for awhile.

My senior, Safar, joined the students exchange program to Canada a few months ago. I heard he is still in Canada right now.He has ever said that he wants to meet Celine Dion there.

I met Eren in Leo Cafe last week. She is an American and learning Indonesian now. We talked about so much stuff, such as her hometown Florida, Thanksgiving celebration, her experiences when living in Kendari, and English learners' problems. I heard she is in Wakatobi island now for scuba diving and celebrating Thanksgiving.
