My experience shows that most of the people do not have enough understanding of the words that are used in communication. The power of expression is not experienced by many leaving many problems coming in self life.

We all know that communication is a cycle. it has to be kept on and on and on..till we achieve what we expect, without hurting any one. There is no reason to hurt. When we hurt someone, either physically or not, shows weak areas in our own personality still to be worked upon.

My experience shows that it does not make much time to develop these skills. Time is taken by those who do not wish to have those great skills of communication.

Think of this and enjoy using right words so that they act as `inspirations` to do great deeds.

Enjoy !

Bondshttps://www.myenglishclub.com/groups/Experiences/forum/bonds2013-02-28T06:47:07.000Z2013-02-28T06:47:07.000ZSunil Jogdeohttps://www.myenglishclub.com/members/SunilJogdeo

Here is some interesting sharing. I was working with a very renown company here in human resources as senior executive. I was responsible for training and development of employees there (roughly 350 employees).

For six years I was there and from beginning I was keen in development of these people, particularly those who work on machines. I used to visit their families, teach them English without any fees, cook food with them at their houses, see movies and the like. Being a training I also used to train them.

I had decided to leave company and just few days before my last day, employees on machine were on strike. I met the union leaders, told them I do not want to see strike when I am leaving. It was genuine request. They all discussed within themselves and they decided to withdraw the strike.

My experience in this episode was that if you work for others without any expectations and with genuine efforts, people listen to you and they respond positively.

Teaching Experiences (I)https://www.myenglishclub.com/groups/Experiences/forum/teaching-experiences-i2012-11-18T06:42:56.000Z2012-11-18T06:42:56.000ZSaharhttps://www.myenglishclub.com/members/Sahar788

Hello Dear Teachers :)

-Would you please say that what you usually speak about in the first of your class?

The reason for asking this quesion:

I am a new teacher in university (a math teacher). Each time when I come to the class I really don't know what I can speak about with students. If we have a holiday, speaking about it can be a good idea, but totally I can't find a good topic before starting the lesson.

Life without Televisionhttps://www.myenglishclub.com/groups/Experiences/forum/life-without-television2010-06-24T21:11:09.000Z2010-06-24T21:11:09.000ZTara Benwellhttps://www.myenglishclub.com/members/TaraBenwell
There have been a few points in my life when I have attempted to live without television. In general, these have been the best times of my life. I often wonder what life was like for people before the invention of "the tube". If I lived alone, I would never own a TV. The only show I ever truly enjoy is Oprah. She is going off the air. Perhaps she already has. Here are the times I lived without TV:1. First year university (I lived in a dorm with 6 girls and none of us wanted a TV. We were the only dorm without one and students always came by for great conversations and beverages. We often played cards or Risk.)2. Final year university (My roommate and I used to watch TV when we did our laundry. We both had no use for TV at home. There was too much work to do. Spare time was for dancing. )3. When I lived alone for 6 months in a bachelor pad in Vancouver I was TVless. My living room was my kitchen and bedroom and office. Choosing to have no TV was the best part of living alone.4. We have a TV, but we are testing what it will be like to have a summer without using it. My children can still watch movies, but so far they haven't missed the programming. My husband misses his sports and news, but the Internet is very useful. I'm thankful for the World Cup updates from all of you!I wonder if we'll ever hook up TV service again. Life without TV is so much richer.Have you tried living without a TV?
