Hello, My friends..

I just wanted to ask this question, because I've recently noticed that there are many of members here who -I felt- are unaware of how they can use EC...

Frequently, I am invited to participate in Writing Challenges or to other grammatical blogs or similar topics related to learning, which are great and notable activities of EC's many different activities.

But to be more particular and answer my discussion's main question, I need to say that:

To me, EC is my favorite hangout where I like to spend my free time, and keep in touch with practicing and using my English, because English is like they describe it "if you don't use it, you will lose it". It's my favorite Social Network as well, where I enjoy communicating with people, who I like, from around the world and having a relieving time off..

Of course, learning new grammar, vocabulary, idiom, or phrasal verb is a great thing which I will always need in order to get more improved. But as to me, I'd like to have such activities unconsciously and in a less concentrating way during my usual communication with people here...

Less frequently and from time to time, I visit the Learn English section to check some certain topics or to review some grammar in some cases.

That's I wanted to share with all of you here in order to introduce my excuse for my poor participation in your grammatical or learning-English topics...

Now, it's your turn to tell us what EC means to you?

 ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I'd like also to add to information that:

EC is a great place to learn, practice, spend lovely time, meet nice people, and get good friends and partners. But it all depends on how you use it..

To help more about how to get the most of EC, this is the best blog that I have ever read here which can help you a lot in this field..

How to Get the Most out of EC's Community?

Thanks for reading, and you are welcome to share us your opinion about this topic :)

Dear EG, EC is my favorite hang out place too. It's an international place that people with different ideas have gathered here and the common language of this land is English; the language that we are all trying to learn English. There was time that I wanted to quit but as time has passed by and I get to know nice people and read their great posts then I started to write myself; something that I have never done it before and now I love writing so as dear rosemary said it's like a home for me too.
Oh my God, sorry for typo; it is AG not EG. :D

OMG... EG :O :O :@

I was thinking to kill you in the next time I would see you for doing this mistake in particular... but Thank God that you recanted, before I commit a crime :D

Thanks for your commet, dear :)

dear Rosemary & setareh

I agree very strongly with your statement. I remember when I first joint here and how hesitant and cautious I was, when I wanted to leave a comment. Step by step, I learnt and gained so much important confidence.. I was able to write and communicate with people after that.. There are many of supporting people who helped a lot my poor Englsih, just like Tara and Anele... I truly will never forget how helpful this hangout meant to me..

Sadly, I removed my page from here two times. But later on, I learnt to just leave it, if I become in a mood of leaving.. there are a lot of great people here who I appreciate a lot, and seriously I do not imagine myself without their being around my life after all..

Thank you very so much for your very nice comments, dear :)

Thanks for the good topic.

To me, MyEC is like a home. I feel so comfortable here.

I do agree with you. It's a great place to practice English while you are having fun at the same time.

Good luck.

:)

If it's OK, I have a grammatical correction for you:

The sentence "But it's all depend on how you use it", must be corrected this way: "But it all depends on how you use it."

:)

Thanks for your opinion, Zahra..

Firstly Congratulations Ag for your sincere blog and secondly thank you for your message that made me remember to come here again after a break.

As for me it's also pleasant to interact with friends and people from everywhere. I firstly logged up her to improve my English (like everyone I guess) but then I realised that I could also learn from other cultures and make online friends from far places.

I admit it was weird to me to express my feelings, ideas or thoughts with people who I don't know and surely will never meet but I decided to keep the bright side and learn not only English but also traditions and teachings. After all this is the only social network I use more frequently.
In conclusion I think that's what Ec means for me and I'm grateful to this site for having now real online friends, one of them I even met in real and hopefully won't be the last one.

MyEC is the main site of my Google Chrome. ^_^ :D :D

Dear Mr. Estanis

I feel happy and sorry at the same time, for we did not check your absence in the last period... I happy to see you here again, and happy to see your comments here and everywhere :)

What I wanted to say in my This discussion, Mr. Estanis, is:

MyEC is not only a place where you can learn English.. It's also a great social network.

Thank you for your comment again :)
