What do You do if You are sad?

Everybody may be sad sometimes. The cause may be bad weather, or angry boss, or naughty children, or wrangle with dearest. What do you do in such case. Do you weep? Or maybe conversely you cheer up? If so, how do you do this? Please, share with me and others.

  • Hello Anita and everyone truly if i'm sad well my weakness is my family that are away from since 6 years by now and most of the time i miss them but i spend on my time at gym club and play soccer so i cannot think and be sad because keeping and being sad is not good for health and to be honest you'll you might get old and sick and disease be calm happy and live your life normally because there is millions of situation cause sadness and i hope everyone keeps their control in temper and patients and wish you all happiness :)

  • I will sleep. Sleep. Sleep. Sleep can reduce my sadness and forget it for a while. Then when I woke up, I would write down my feelings in my diary, eat my favorite foods, and talk with others. So far, I feel much more better tackle my sadness by talking to somebody else. I could be sad for a long time like a week or months. But now, I try to keep my sadness for not more than 2-3 days.

  • I listen to a song that makes me real sad and cry a little, write a little (I usually like what I write while sad), stay in silence staring at the ceiling wallowing in self pity a little.

When I was younger (maybe 10 years ago) I tend to self-harm when I was sad, which I suppose is a bad idea, and I don't do it anymore, but if I'm like... SUPER SAD, like wanting to die, I might get a new piercing in my ear.

Also, now, differently than 10 years ago I tell my mum "you know, I'm not feeling so good right now so excuse me in advance if I'm creeping around with a long sad face, it'll probably stop in a day or two". Then she won't ask much, because I hate to speak much while sad, but the mere action of saying "you know, I'm not OK right now but it'll pass" makes me feel kind of better.

Then, after a day or two I actually feel kind of better and start convincing myself that dragging my heavy body around is neither fun nor productive and try to cheer up doing things to keep my mind busy.

  • A few days? Woow, a very long time.
  • Hey Anitha

     , how r u? usually, i cry like a baby ...ha ha

  • ohh Damn, that´s a good question,  it depends how are around u, e.g.  if you live alone, just go out and drink some beers,  if not e.g. u have a family already,  a couple of children, just share what u feel with them,  they will know  how to help you, do whatever you like the most.

  • Listening to the music often is a  remedium to me.

I like calm, sad one. It simply works to me. What's about you?

  • Yup. That was the most valuable moment to face sorrow. :)
