  • It depends upon the situation. just like for example; when someone is in love with you but that person doesn't want you to know and suddenly he/she makes up his mind already and he/ she decides to tell you, you know that's very sweet, right? It feels that you are special. Here, the truth is very sweet.

however, when someone in your family has a sort of health problem or in some cases will die in just a matter of months and that family member doesn't want you to know, and in some day, you, found out about that, of course you will feel sad, very very sad really. This situation proves your idea that truth is bitter.

Any saying or quotes, for me, is really depends upon the situation and depends upon the person etc.

    • We always speak Truth either bitter or sweeter

  • Not always, but not that rarely too... :) Truth is Reality that we will have to deal with after all, sooner or later, be it ever sweet or bitter. But however, a bitter truth is definitely better than  a sweet lie. Bitter thruth is like a bitter herb tasting sometimes awful yet it cures our ailing soul like the bitter herb cures our ailing body, while the sweet lie merely works rather like an antidepressant, having a timely appeasing effect yet poisoning our soul gradually.

  • It depends on what truth refers to. Some is but some isn't. But mostly, it is. We often come across in our daily life that many facts are not as sweet as we hope. But no matter how bitter they are, they lead us to take the right step and not to follow our illusion. :)

  • truth is bitter because  bitter medicine is more effective. truth is harmful for the time being but its result is long lasting.
