Three questions

Dear members of MyEC.

I am asking you the following three questions. Would you like to reply?

1. What is the first thing you notice about other people at the very first meeting?

2. What are you most afraid of in life?

3. Do you think there is something that all people have in common, if so what is it?

  • 1) My problem is this that I do not like meeting with people very much.  In case if a person approaches me, first thing in my mind comes, "Why he wants to talk to me?"

I always try to read their eyes. (Though I do not know ever I've been successful in it or not, means my guess may be right or wrong)..

    2) I have always been afraid of uncertainity, (though later on it turn cleared),

    3) Yes, we all want to be listened, and never listen.

    • Hi, Mishaikh.

Thanks a lot for taking part in this discussion. I hope you and your family are doing well.

      1. When I wrote about the very first meeting, I meant when you look at them as they come towards you, when they walk past you, when you sit somewhere watching them, when they look at you.
We all have an impression of people when we see them first sight. The eyes or their body language say a lot about people because they cannot be faked, they are the reflection of themselves.

      2. I get you.

      3. Well observed!

  • Hi there! Here are my answers:

    1. What is the first thing you notice about other people at the very first meeting?
Likes, dislikes, gestures, basic personality traits.

    2. What are you most afraid of in life?
    Pain.

    3. Do you think there is something that all people have in common, if so what is it?
People in general think they're "the only ones." The only ones that have a bad day, or have problems, or a difficult life. Or the only ones that are correct, that have the answer, the experience, the knowledge. Everybody thinks they're special.
    • Hi, Ishtar.

Thanks for taking part in this discussion.

      for 3.:
In fact, everyone is special and unique because everyone exists only once, but that doesn't mean not caring for others or taking their needs, problems, and difficulties into account in life. Empathy is the key to a peaceful and pleasant living together.

You describe people only as selfish beings. Do you really think we're all like that? Do we have nothing else in common?
If you have only met selfish people in your life, I feel sorry for you.
Believe me, there doesn't only black and white; there are many other shades that make life and people colorful, diverse, and lovable.

  • Hi Mrs.Mcgonagall... What a interesting discussion... Ok...then I am going to answer your questions.

    1. I exactly notice their eyes.If their pupils dilate, I know they like talking me otherwise not interested to talk. It is difficult to notice.. And the other factor is speaking style.
    2. I am afraid to recollect my faults that I did to my relations after they dead..
    3. animosity, jealousy, passion
    • Hmmmmm....I harboured a deep belief that the names of people should be written properly, no matter if  McGonagall exists in a fiction world or in a real world....I guess it is a matter of social maturity.

    • It's just salty dear.... Anyway, you don't worry..

    • Haha, dear Keshala...you can't stop calling me that way.

Thanks for taking part in the discussion.

  • Hi Rose

    1. Look and behaviour

    2. Incertitude

    3. Search of happiness

I know, brief answers. I guess my mood these days :)

    • Hi Estanis.

Thank you for stopping by and participating in the discussion.
Your explanation is clear, even if you say it's just brief.
By the way, not the number of words but their meaning is that what counts. We often say more with fewer words than with many.
