"Formal education will make you a living. Self-education will make you a fortune."
Jim Rohn

There are 1,400 minutes in each day. We all have 1,440 minutes each day. What do you do with these 1,440 minutes? Sleep, clearly, work and eat of course. But, what do you do with the extra minutes? What separates someone from living an ordinary life and an extraordinary life is the use of their time.

If you were to spend 15 minutes each day to practice English, how would your English skills improve in 3 months, 6 months, a year? 15 minutes is only 1% of your time each day. What can you do with these 15 minutes? You can review words in English and say them out loud, or you can listen to news or songs in English, or you can share with with your friends a new word that you learned in English.

Do you know that studying English for 15 minutes daily is much better than one time each week for 2 hours on one day? Why? The "Ebbinghaus Forgetting Curve" teaches us that what we learn in one day decreases to 30% the next day! If we do not practice for a few days, we will lose what we have learned.

One secret to learning languages is constant practice, each day. With frequent practice the forgetting curve does not decrease so rapidly. With frequent, daily study, we remember more of what we studied. Our progress is more rapid when we remember more of our studies.

It all depends upon your daily use of time. Self-education, how you use your time to improve yourself, will bring you a rich life of knowledge!

Question: How do you find time to study English?

Much success to your learning English!
